any idea on the electricity consumption for 1.0hp wall mounted aircond and 1.0hp ceiling aircond (cassette type)? Is it recommended to install ceiling aircond? I was thinking that the coverage of ceiling aircond is better. Planning to install for living room and master bedroom. Any recommendation? Thanks@

Thanks@ Just depend on brands and power input watts.1hp is don't have any brand offer below 1.5hp of cassette type. Cassatte type will be high maintenace, like water drain pump not working or chemical wash for worst condition. Actual like Pana or Daikin or ME cassette type, if the lower price may Daikin GA will do. |

Hi,
Noobies with question here. What can I do, if I want to install aircond on my living room and only limited to there; since my living room is directly connected to dining hall and kitchen? |

This is very common for sharing compartment right. Just install face to living sofa area will do. But would be take time for cooling down only. |

Getting new air-conds for my apartment. Now I'm deep in the R22 vs R410a debate.
The air-cond installer seems to be discouraging the installation of R410a units due to the higher service costs and units that break down more easily. Anyone here know how much more expensive it is to service R410a non-inverter units and if it really breaks down more frequently? Thanks. They is no such thing on higher maintenance at all, from R22 to R410a both needs to maintenace and serving for clean out dust also. Unless is gas leakage due to poor installation. Nowadays all Aircons brand has been runing R410a gas already, from R22 gas will be shortage in future for sure the gas R22 price would be go up again, then baru complain why not get R410a in the 1st place. R410a inverter or non inverter in the 1st place of the gas pressure are higher than R22, even turn on duration of the temperature reaching time also much faster than R22 as lower pressure. For power energy from R410a will be much energy efficient too. This post has been edited by kimsim: Jul 20 2015, 11:54 PM |
