hope to seek advice from you guys about the cassette tyre air cond. If install a cassette aircond in a living of about 400sqf (double storey downstair), is 2hp enough? Is it problematic of using cassette tyre compare to wall mounted? maintaining cost?

QUOTE(skitZo` @ Jul 21 2015, 11:17 PM) Hows the 2.5hp Panasonic inverter doing so far? Is it good? Is yours the CSS-24RKH-1 model? Yup, thats the model.Planning to change my master bedroom aircond too. 17' width x 22' length x 10' height, according to HP calculator i need a 2.5hp aircon. cheers! My room is about the same size as yours, minus ~50sf bathroom. So 2.5hp is the correct sizing even though the installer recommends 2hp. |

Did mine yesterday, non-inverter to inverter change. |

I am thinking to buy the following Panasonic model, both comes with Econavi/nanoe-G features:
1. CS-KC9QKH (1.0 hp) 2. CS-KC12QKH (1.5hp) Anyone has feedback on this 2 models? Also, for the 1.5 hp which I plan to fix at living room (which stretched to dining area - total about 25ft in length), if let's say I am at the other end of the room from where the aircond unit is installed, does the Econavi feature reduce the overall temperature when it detects no one at where it is situated? I worry that I cannot feel the cool air at dining area if I am not directly in the same area where the aircond unit is at. btw, if my aircond pipe cannot support inverter airconds, it also means that I cannot install any non inverter airconds that is using R410 gas right? I read in some other forums that Mitsubishi airconds using R410 gas can be installed in existing R22 piping...is this true? This post has been edited by honkkydorry: Jul 22 2015, 11:49 AM |

QUOTE(nanan75 @ Jul 22 2015, 07:24 PM) Still too early to tell, but i can now turn the aircond 8-10hrs and confident that the bill will not shoot up. Nice, econavi and inverter shld reduce electricity consumption. Kimsim, the ME Mr. Slim 2.5hp MSY-GF24VA costs ard 3500 in my area, panasonic css24-RKH cost rm3000. These are without installation. |
