wierd le...after it patch it become 0.7.0 instead of 1.70...and it doesnt update my 1.61....did i downloaded the wrong patch?

problem of latency might due to streamyx IP address ...

if u get 219.xxx.xxx.xxx then it'll b v laggy which is 1000-3000ms latency but if u manage to reconnect and get 218.xxx.xxx.xxx then the latency level will b around 300-700ms

keep reconnecting !!

Well, one of the reasons is that that certain client IP address has a few lagg spikes / too many people on. Somehow it has something to do with the streamyx servers on where they connect to. Btw, do you guys experience choppy gameplay? even with the 218.xxx.xxx.xxx ?

I think 218 and 219 ip use different route to the server. I'm only able to get 218 ip from morning to afternoon. Once after 5pm, try connect 100 times also cannot get 219 ip

Anyone from Penang? After TMnet updated the line, i can't even play with 218.XXX.XXX.XXX, this is totally BS!

I have the same problem too. Did a bandwidth test on Streamyx site and I am getting 100kbps when my subscription is for 1mbps..

Heh I just quit WoW, for the better. Not only do I have time to face reality now, I'm also free from Streamyx's haunt of lag, IM FREE!

lol , i play less nowaday, maybe an hour a day or even only play at weekend. The crazy moment for Wow already passed at least for me.

Well, the lag will forever haunt us no matter what MMORPG we play.

as for playing less WoW, i pretty much have to agree seeing that there is no sufficient time between work and playing WoW.

Plus my guild runs MC on Thursday and Friday 10 am.

Which is definately a no show for me, seeing that i'm already in the office working T.T

i from Selayang, Selangor, i just got connected with IP 218 guess wat ... it same performance as the 219. Now two things in my mind, either it was my computer problem, or streamyx lagging cause i keeping having 1k-1.3k latency in WoW, normally i only have like 700ms the highest.

Im from Selayang too, and one of the technicians actually informed us that our lines are actually faulty cuz its old. But I suppose its just another crappy excuse from them.

About the 218 lagging also, Ive read at the Broadband section in this forum that overall performance of streamyx is dropping, regardless of which IP ur using.
