New Unifi IPTV Box - Huawei EC6108V8, Need some help on configuration and tips

TM just replaced my old STB with this newer huawei model due to lagging while switching channel problem. However, this new STB gives me a headache. Whenever I try to load the hypptv to watch the TV channel, i noticed the res. downgraded automatically from 1080i to 576i. this makes the HD channels such as Nat Geo and such become blurrier and not clear anymore like before. The thing that baffles me is that the resolution from the homescreen is fulll HD 1080i (16:9) and when I try to use My Application, the res. is still in full HD. the res. it only donwgraded to 576i whenever the hypptv is loaded when i want to watch the TV. I already ask the technician and he said this is the problem that all users facing with this newer STB. I seriously doubt that. Does anyone know how does this happens? I'm a Unifi user btw.

TM technician failed 1 la..for my opinion, its because the HyppTV app is not optimize to run 1080i yet..only thing we can do now is hope TM update the app

hi guys, anyone encountered black screen from hypptv box right from powered on?
both LEDs are Green in color when i turn it out using the remote control however my TV is just black screen, no sound and no response. I can only off it by pressing the on/off button then press on the "enter" button to off it. I tried changing HDMI cables as well as HDMI ports of my TV but still the same thing.
I can only on or off the hypptv box without any display. the only response is the LEDs (green to red and red to green)
i have called TM And they said will investigate and call me back soon.

Since you've confirmed that the fault isn't from either the HDMI cables or ports on the TV.. Best to wait for TM to come check it out.. If still within warranty, they may outright replace it.

I have this problem too, but i just need to press the source selection button on my AVR remote again to make it display on tv like everytime.

I have a lot of free IPTVs installed in my box. The downside is sometimes the apps will go offline and not playable after some time.  Not an issue for me because I joined the FB Group for TV Box and they will update there for free apps.
