Just get this set-top box today from TM..

The Android OS is running 1080p, but when I watch HyppTV, the resolution only 480i instead of 1080i..not so clear now..

Anyone know what is the problem?

It works for some and not for others.. You see, do not mistake the box for a proper media player..cuz it's not. It's a simple device supplied by TM for one specific purpose.. Hypptv.. So if you require more power and stability, get a proper media player.. It's a no brainer..  smile.gif

their own media player able to output 1080P, but the Zoom function is useless, it dun care the ratio. sad.gif

Nothing special done to get 1080p, just use KODI or MX Player Pro.
As long as the source is 1080p, it will automatically scale to that.

If the source is 480, you have 4K also it will show as 480.

if you have a good tv, watching 720 and 1080 make very little different...
