Like I mention earlier. I has installed a download manager before (turbo download). when download 谷歌安装器 at http://www.coolapk.com/ my download window option pop up. It seems still working.

What version of KODI you installed previously?

I tried many version. because the KODI from playstore doesn't work. It's KODI 17 which required higher android OS. My unit running on 4.4.2 only. So I download an older version 16.1.

I just tried to connect my STB to WLAN, but when I reached password column, I could only enter numerics with the HyppTV remove, but not alphabets.... how do I switch to alphabets with HyppTV remote???

After highlighting the input box, press the OK button again and the onscreen keyboard will popup from below... Then press "Arrow Down" to access the keys.. "OK" to select character.

next to try stuff out when i get the chance. a few questions remain

1. anyone has luck on getting the new/old Iflix app working after the update without needing login ID and TM DNS on the router?
2. how do you find out whether the output of hypptv is 480/576/1080? i mean in the settings page i can set things to 1080 but reading through the pages i didn't quite see a way to verify if the output on the tv is 1080 or not?
3. did anyone try UHS-3 microsd card on the box and is 64gb the max possible for the unit?

Nope.. Still asks for login.
Check from your TV.. Mine has an "info" button.. Press to see current resolution.. It matches what's set in the STB.
No idea.. Never bothered.

TM wins.. I've tried a few workarounds and still unable to install any other apks.. Since, technically it's our property.. i wonder if out of contract we can request it be unlocked..

I tried and cannot too.. But without Google Play we can manually download apk file and install too.

Provided you have a File Manager installed in your box.

As fruitie commented... No file explorer, no deal.
