Within warranty and factory fault found? Yes.

If out of warranty and contract. You have to terminate and reapply to have it. It's silly, but that's the way without charge. TM will refuse to change the box for free outside warranty, as its your property.

Do u lose the hypptv after factory reset? What about the hypptv passwords?

I don't use HyppTV. I think you can easily ask for password from TM?

It's fully reseted by TM and setup by them . Didn't touch the storage and memory at all. I wait for them to solve it, then only I will fiddle with the box to side load app.

I believe it's from the server. Even in my relative house, I notice the lag. It's getting widespread I think.

FYI guys, if you ever call TM for HyppTV box issue, please uninstall Kodi. Some of TM technician will immediately consider it void if they saw the Kodi app. Luckily the technician is nice and inform me about it.

I would suggest you don't do anything and use what's given. If you're paying RM149 for that kind of speed and don't plan to pay more, why upgrade to 179 just to get new TV box. That extra RM30 per month can end up buying a better TV box after 10 months of paying. Just my 2 cents.

What I could suggest is to complain to TM about the lagginess issue like mine. Most likely the technician will troubleshoot the problem and their SOP is to change device, assume to solve to problem. But before they change, make sure you ask whether will you be charge for the new device or not. If being charge for the box, just refuse the service. Then proceed to call TM or they'll call you, and close the case due to charges imposed.

Then request for rebate when the case is close. Because it's what you're entitled.

Here's hoping a fix is implemented and soon. Thanks for the tip. Not to worry as I only use the STB for Hypptv purposes. Have another box as a dedicated media player..

I'm watching ip man 3 now on Channel 228. All the excited scenes become potong steam cause of the lag. Haha

I also noticed the lag.

Hopefully TM patch this issue up from their side.

Yes, it's that frustration. Seeing Ip Man swing his mighty Wing Chun, then when about to hit someone LAG comes in. The person just....K.O without seeing the action kena whack.....potong steam

I thought it was caused by the WiFi setup on the HyppTv box.
Since everyone is experiencing the lag, hope it is not the WiFi setup.

Today i try to set kodi on my friend hyyptv white box.. i managed to get the google store working.. but when i try to install kodi .. it stated that not compatible to version of the device...

I realised now that kodi has a new version "krpton" ... so then i try to download kodi jarvis 16.1 to sideload using es file manager... but still not compatible...

Can u guyd give me the link to compatible version of kodi jarvis for hypptv box.. Any idea guys

Hi. Could anyone help me with my hypptv please? It seems like i have changed the settings. I must use my mouse and keyboard at all times. The on screen keyboard wont show anymore. Besides, at the main menu (i.e where i pick 'hypptv', 'my media' and 'my application'), i need to use the mouse and the remote control wont work. i cant go into either by pressing the 'OK' button on the remote control. Could anyone help me with this please? Thank you.

Yes im also have no issue with my kodi...

What happen today is that my friend ask me to set up kodi on his hypptv box... i try to install using play store but the kodi app was not compatible... u guys can check your play store now ... the kodi krypton was released yesterday on the 3rd of Feb.

So now my only option is to sideload kodi.

There are many version of kodi jarvis 16.1 .. there are some with x86 something... which one is compatible if u guys know..

I have never downloaded any app from Google Play for this box except for ES File Explorer. All apps are sideloaded.
Try the one VeeJay suggested, if still cannot let me find my file.
