Using a wired LAN connection as per original design..

Silly questions.. Have you checked the batteries in the remote? Dropped the remote lately? Also, the remote uses Infrared and not Bluetooth, make sure it's pointed at the IR receiver on the STB.

Edit: Just found out, to display the onscreen keyboard... select the textbox and press the okay button. The onscreen keyboard will pop up from below, then press up or down to start selecting keys. To make the keyboard go away..press back on the remote.

Krypton is not compatible with this box.. Go to the Kodi Official Discussion Thread... Same question...Answer provided.

You need to have username@iptv and password and key in at the authentication part.

Make sure you safekeep the password. It has two sets of account. Make sure you request both.

Username@unifi and username@iptv, both account has different password. Probably you can save it in Google Drive as notes. Easy access.

i have new hypp tv white box android i was installing play store apps , but suddenly the box give me message and start to update automatically , after that restart nd flash every thing tm they remove all apps now i cant see play store and i cant root hypp tv , any more idea??
now when u want to root hypp tv they will ask the password any body knows the password for 4 characters ??

The password used to be 3008 but heard no longer usable.
Just download ES File Explorer from browser by visiting websites like APK Mirror. Then after that install and you should be able to sideload other APKs.

Mine is still 3008, not sure why others had not been able to use it.

u cannot download anything using browser from hypptv. they already block it

Something along the lines of "downloads not allowed or supported". Earlier today, for kicks.. Connected the box to WiFi, visited Kodi page to download and clicking on the download link throws that error. Was like, Meh..try play store.. Launching Play store and it ask for Gmail login.. Was able to successfully login and that's it.. Blocked, as if no Internet. Play Store kept reporting "No connection, Retry". And yet the pre-installed browser is still able to browse the Internet..

Yup. Appears so.. Funny I didn't notice a firmware update and the maintenance code still works..

Wah, this TM semakin pandai! Means the box is only for HyppTV.

exactly. one of the reason that i heard is because people install to many apps. damage the box, and tm have to replace them back (under warranty). lot of resource wasted. the best way to prevent this is to disable it..

For those facing the locked HyppTV device, has anyone tried to reset the HyppTV and then re-enter all crendentials to see if that could revert back to previous build ?

IMO..TLDR: Too much work.

*Far superior device available for media playing.
*If can't be restored safely, have to call TM and incur a RM53 charge. Nope.
*If successful at reverting back to the previous build. The device is still incapable of handling my media needs..
