When MAS decided to slash 6000 employees, my flight to Doha was delayed for 2 hours, when checking in, I need to wait for 1 hour to complete the process, business class somemore, only got 3 person infront of me at that time.
Checked the policy, it need to be delayed for 4 hours only can claim

They usually ensured that the delay is within the non-claimable period...

Yup, AXA is not bad, I bought my travel insurance with them most of the time.
Successfully claim a for a damage luggage bag.
Just make sure you read thoroughly on all the claim process, if you miss any supporting documents, that will be your fault. If the documents are clear and precise, it is fairly easy to claim.

My flight from Shenzhen to KL in December 2013 was delayed by 3 and half hours.

When I returned to KL, I checked my Tune Insurance policy to discover that only a delay over 3 hours is entitled for claim and under M2C Amex Platinum delay over 4 hours. I found it quite unreasonable.

What follow suits is the claiming procedure with Tune which is quite troublesome. After a long 3 months and a series of followup, I was entitled to a meagre compensation.

Seriously would rather choose not to stuck in the plane for 3 and half hours. My plane would have arrived at 1am but instead arrived at 5am in a total zombie mode.
