QUOTE(IceLeo @ May 29 2015, 10:22 AM) Base on my 4 months usage of this card.. i calculate back.. the effective cash back is only 6.2% for me.. u paid rm160 edi?i cant really make sure my card swept at exactly 1000 per months.. sometime more, sometime less.. in conclusion, i only get 6.2% after minus off 13 every month for the 160 annual fee.. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 29 2015, 11:24 AM) not that straightforward actually. in order to achieve that, you must separate your expenses into 3 categories and save rm5 expenses per category. for eg, spend rm325, rm325, rm335 to get rm33, rm33, rm34 cb respectively. don't actually understand. if you only utilising 2 categories, you can only save rm10 expenses = rm990. if only 1 category utilised, rm995 max. for example, why can't i pay utility RM50X10. and balance i pay say mobile RM495X1 to achieve total RM995? which means cashback RM100? |

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ May 29 2015, 03:18 PM) These codes are sort of like a survey did by HLB to categorize the cardholders where they got the info about this 30% cash back campaign. Eg W1 is from sms blasting and you replied W1, meaning you fall into this category, W2 from email flyer/brochures, W3 from website, etc etc. so it doesn't matter which number then? I actually found out from LY forum Btw anyone already completed their 3 weekday swipes? I almost forgot |

I wonder if it matters if I use a different phone number to register for the 30% weekend cash back since it doesn't ask for phone that I usually receive the TAC.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jun 1 2015, 07:29 AM) i think maybe it does matter. because you can't activate your cc with a phone which is not registered in the form when you apply for the cc. but not sure whether the same applies to this 30% campaign. my phone got barred for not paying my outstanding bill, so i can't sms to register for the contest. so i plan to use another phone to register and then later today pay my phone bill 3x for the contest. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jun 1 2015, 09:05 AM) you may try but i think you will receive a reply sms saying that it's unsuccessful. i just tried for fun with my other phone and it says successful registration.when you sms, you don't have to key in cc number right? so how are they going to link your unregistered phone number with your cc number? anyway, i still don't think it's so important to swipe 3x on early weekdays. more important is the weekend transaction must be early. unless the cb allocation is finishing and there were many swiped at the same time on that weekend, so they have to use the weekdays 3x transactions to judge. so after you paid and unbar your phone only join is still not too late. to register for the contest, need to type W1/W2/W3/W4<space>16 digits of CC number, so yeah they don't know which phone but they know your card. it's not about early or not, it's about me not able to submit my SMS since my line is barred. QUOTE(supersound @ Jun 1 2015, 09:10 AM) For post paid, you can actually call for getting extended period up to last day of the month. When on the last day of a month, call them again to extend it to another 1-2 days. Maxis allows me to do so. should have read your reply before I tried, din't know can call to extend...But before you do this, make sure you are getting average of -rm** average. This is how I made rm7++ direct to Maxis You may give a try today and ask for the extension. But make sure you do the payment once you registered for this. QUOTE(supersound @ Jun 1 2015, 09:33 AM) If register using another number, then no need already. haha not sure i can also coz i always pay late since previously i only own mb2cards and to maximise my rebate, sometimes i pay sometimes 2 months i nvr pay... But next time when you need to do something(can't pay on time), always call them to extend the period. |
