Not too sure if I can ask here. I read that HLB Card have like Travel Protection Insurance (Matta Card). Do anyone know how this is activated??
*
Not every credit card have this feature, you need to read the fine prints. But HL Wise don't have for sure. Usually for this travel protection insurance, it is activated when you pay your flight tickets using credit card that have these features.

I see in AA Thread say CC got such protection mah so doesn't need to waste money on buying the protection .... although double protection is not that bad ROFL
*
AA insurance covers very minimal and only covers anything related to your flight, once you are off the place and get your luggage, that's it.
CC travel insurance is more extensive and depends on your credit card type, may even cover house content when you are away, accidents that happens during your travel and etc
Lastly own travel insurance is the best as all the details is listed but you need to pay on your own.

But do note that for baggage delay, damage, medical and etc... this claim can only be claim once even though you may have more than 1 insurance coverage. Only death claims, then next of kins can claim from multiple

Yup, AXA is not bad, I bought my travel insurance with them most of the time.
Successfully claim a for a damage luggage bag.
Just make sure you read thoroughly on all the claim process, if you miss any supporting documents, that will be your fault. If the documents are clear and precise, it is fairly easy to claim.

i want a hong leong debit card... for touch and go... why the process like credit card?
*
Why do you want a hong leong bank debit card... Just the normal touch and go there is a lot of option.
But in my knowledge, debit card ties with visa or master merchant, so the process it goes through is the same... although the deduction is directly made from your account

If buying electrical goods in hypermarkets, but there is a special counter to make payment, will it be under the grocery category?
I know it depends on the merchant code... Just wondering if hypermarkets change their codes at different payment counters
*
based on my experience in Tesco and mydin, all consider grocery but do watch out for AEON Jusco.

wondering if this situation happened to you guys before ..

payments via uob payonline reflected in CC statement but there are still unpaid balances in the utilities bills received today ..I've confirmed the account numbers are in order :S
*
When paying utilities bill, you need to check the date they put "Pay Before", payment made after the date will not be reflected on time

Same here... Thanks for replying.
Also using watami for the 3% on streamyx bill....
The other better option will be public bank signature, 6% but too bad I'm not eligible.
