I got a X34 from Harvey Norman recently, they gave an acer headset for free... just to poison you more.

I got it from Paradigm, I've checked their website and seems like most of their stores isn't selling the model. I got the X34A with slightly prettier UI than the first gen, I heard X34B is coming out with a joystick behind for easier UI control.

What are you guys take on Microboard M340CLZ? I've been thinking on getting this monitor to replace my benq2411z . Linus and few other reviewers have been raving about it..

I think its an excellent choice since its also using a Samsung VA Panel albeit solder version compare to Samsung CF791 and runs native 100hz & freesync. In the market, there's no other 34" LCD 3440x1440 that runs native 100hz & freesync currently and price below RM3K. The only other upcoming models is Asus MX34VQ which will likely use the same samsung CF791 VA panel.

Yeah besides that bulky stand, everything about x34a is perfect.

I'm still live with the monster sized stand, my table not easy to install monitor arm, no place to clamp at inner edge due to design, only possible way was from cable management hole but that's 20" away from middle sweat.gif

Depends on what you run, but 29" should be just slightly wider 1080P, so most likely no issue one.

I have a rather long table too, but the stand that I got does support grommet mount.

Really wanted to jump to Ultrawide but i'm torn between 34 and 29 because of the price difference. LG 29 is super cheap but I would probably regret in getting the 34. Any users of Crossover or any other cheap brands that I can consider?
