it seems that you've got one more upgrade to do. Change to the Green side or else no 100Hz for ya.  laugh.gif your X34A will behave like any normal 60Hz screen. That's a waste of pawwaaa  tongue.gif

yes bro. if not, it will simply lock to a normal 60Hz. 100Hz is enabled via the embedded Gsync module of the panel.

anyway, one upgrade at a time. biggrin.gif Pair the monitor with a compatible NV GPU and you can enjoy Gsync also. It isn't just about the 100Hz, for me the most important thing is it is Gsync-capable panel.

Ya, G-sync is the meat. It's even impressive at lower frame rate like 40fps, where G-sync help reduce the blur.

for a little bit of future-proofing, you won't get wrong in choosing either the H170 or even better the Z170. The later comes with additional support of 20 PCIe lanes by the Z170 chipset, exclusive of the 16 direct PCIe lanes provided by your i7 6700K (a total of 36 PCIe lanes), in which you can play around later on in expanding your system for your IO peripherals, for example, a NVME SSD, a PCIe-based storage, a faster wifi card, etc. This is important in case you want to do SLI in the future, who knows right? biggrin.gif Furthermore, you choose to go for the K version of the i7, so Z170 would be a better choice there.

and to answer your question, 650W is good enough for the above specs, but you never know if lets say in the near future, you wanna add on another one card and maybe do some OC on your CPU and GPU, if I were you, I'd go for the 850W, just for the future upgrade and better efficiency of the PSU operating at half the rated wattage, generally. I did this mistake by buying the 750W, coz I have the plan to do some SLI also later in the future. Wasting a lot of money by buying low wattage then gatal wanna do SLI and need to buy another one. Poor initial planning really. sad.gif

Let's not forget that Z170 mobos are getting new BIOS updates which will make them compatible for upcoming Kaby Lake CPUs too

Wanna ask,

Is 29" ultrawide wide optimal for multi tasking and gaming ? Starting to get interested in Ultrawide monitor, as I am thinking of giving my 23" HP monitor to my dad to replace is 19" monitor.

Yup, it seem like an entry to UW monitors, and within my budget too if I save till next year, as I have to overhaul my mobo and processor.
