If want cheap(er) there's always the XR3501 from Mr BenQ

Smaller but reasonable resolution so less GPU power needed too.

There's also the Acer Predator Z35 if one does not mind the 1080p resolution

Problem with these 2, price are just few hundreds cheaper than X34, if RM3K then worth it IMO.

Yes it is. But I have been reading ghosting or motion blur problems on both Acer Z35 as well as BenQ XR3501 because of the VA panel they used.

Still waiting for news on Predator Z301C, part of the Z1 series they announced a while back. VA panel but I hope they fix the ghosting issue.

And I'm wishing LG brings their 34" monitors into Malaysia so that we have more choices.

That Z301C was interesting, because IMO Z35's 1080P @ 35 inch have too low dpi, 30 inch 1080P have proper dpi.

I use IPS panel for gaming also didn't feel the ghosting.

Tested the BenQ XR3501, no ghosting either.

I never heard ghosting on IPS panel. Only on VA panel monitors. I'm not saying VA panel monitors are bad monitors.

I only read that ghosting/motion blur happens in certain game with certain condition at certain refresh rates especially above 144Hz. Still, there are some people don't have ghosting problems at all.

Eh the one that people complain the most about ghosting is actually IPS.

I used to game on my 25ms IPS monitor, I don't feel an issue so till date I don't see why people complain ghosting.

And I play fast-paced games like Overwatch.

Ahh I see. I thought we are talking about Ultrawide monitors only. I never see people complain IPS Ultrawide having ghosting problem.

Thanks for highlighting the XR3501. We believe every monitor has their pros and cons, more importantly is to weigh what you need, the price and other features. smile.gif

Can't comment about the part number but physically, only the stand differs between the X34 and X34A

Planning to buy the LG 29UM57, but seems like now everywhere also out of stock.

Is there any other monitor that is ultrawide with 2560x1080 resolution that cost about 1k++ ?
