That BenQ XR3501 was shown at AMD Fury X event but they used it for Occulus Rift!

If want cheap(er) there's always the XR3501 from Mr BenQ
Smaller but reasonable resolution so less GPU power needed too. |

QUOTE(muiz_xgx @ Sep 8 2016, 06:07 PM) Yes it is. But I have been reading ghosting or motion blur problems on both Acer Z35 as well as BenQ XR3501 because of the VA panel they used. I use IPS panel for gaming also didn't feel the ghosting.Tested the BenQ XR3501, no ghosting either. |

Eh the one that people complain the most about ghosting is actually IPS.
I used to game on my 25ms IPS monitor, I don't feel an issue so till date I don't see why people complain ghosting. And I play fast-paced games like Overwatch. |

QUOTE(edmund_yung @ Mar 21 2017, 01:23 PM) Agree and AMD freesync card doesn't have the RAW power to run those for gaming on ultra settings. Depends on what game and resolution.RX 470 and RX 480 can run plenty of games out there, and also of course depends on the resolution on those Ultra-wide monitors. I'm using the AOC model with Adaptive Sync, and AMD FreeSync recognizes it. Resolution is 2560 x 1080. If it was a higher resolution ultra wide like Acer X34 with 3440 x 1440 then yes, confirm sure even the RX 480 (which is GTX 1060 level) won't make the cut. |

Highest end model card is always around that price.
But seriously man, that AOC donno what name long long monitor is nice and first time I see output wider than 4K. |

You can't run away from black bars no matter what.
Even you watch movies you'll get black bars top and bottom anyway. |

QUOTE(ahmaryusoff6 @ Feb 20 2018, 07:23 AM) 4k Ultrawide will murder my GPU for sure Almost 4K but as long as not gaming your GPU shouldn't be suffering. It will be the best for movie lovers and cinephile. |

QUOTE(xtrasher_kingx @ Mar 17 2018, 02:29 AM) Interesting.. how about brightness? I would agree with VS about dual monitor, it depends on your usage. Ideally it should be identical but if you need 2ndary monitor just to monitor stuff like say trading charts and all then you could just go for something that doesn't cost as much. |
