I will wait though coz for me monitor change is not an easy task as it is bulky and thus involve more expensive shipping fee and higher risk of damage during transportation. Not like other computer parts - CPU, motherboard, RAM, etc that you can just sell them off and buy another set easily if you find them not suitable or not up to your expectation.

So far most of the youtube review of the Z35p has been quite positive (of course I know cannot trust everything blindly on the internet). Will google for more user reviews in various forum when it is available here in Malaysia before I fork out the cash on this toy. icon_rolleyes.gif

wait for Z35p since it has better refresh rate. The colors on it despite having a VA panel is actually quite impressive based from reviews and user reviews I read it reddit. Also, it's $200 cheaper than X34a so I guess you know what to buy from the two smile.gif

Supposedly cheaper, but we never know when it reaches our shore lol. Been reading that link as well so apparently at the end of the day its more on user preference in between these 2 model, some cant stand the colour shift (a minority). So depends on what type of user you are.

My X34 has got a dead pixel, and the RMA process is pretty painless (other than carrying the monitor into the car). Seeing how Acer Service at Subang Jaya deals with me, I won't hesitate to buy another of their high end products.

Any user of the X34A with the stock provided stand can give me the measurement of how deep the monitor is from the wall to the panel. Need to know if my desk can fit it.

One feet ( 30CM ) sweat.gif , it'll reduce your desk depth a lot if you have small table. KNS even huge table like IKEA FREDE also felt kinda cramped.

Ah so my desk is around 70+ cm from the wall the front, that should be good for an ultrawide with their stock stand, right? I mean semua syok to own an ultrawide but all forgot to think of the size of their desk can fit or not haha

That should be fine. I purposely get a 80cm depth one when I change table. Afterward will get monitor arm also, that bloody stand took out large workspace, full size keyboard cant hide below etc.

That's true, but I was going outstation soon so I can't wait for them to come over. They did offer to send back to my place, which I declined too. I can't wait to pick it up and continue gaming!

Good to hear Acer got a comparable service as Dell (on monitor RMA). Just grab a GTX1080 Ti, now just waiting for last piece of puzzle - an 34" ultra-wide monitor to complete my new build for this year. biggrin.gif

wow... that Asus is priced out of reach. Unless X35 come earlier than the Z35p, I will settle for the Z35p. Have to endure the horrible pixelised FHD 27" Samsung display now everyday at the moment. shakehead.gif

asus shakehead.gif when reach here will be super crazy expensive on a already very expensive monitor

but these two will come next year, damn long wait so i guess you have better chance with Z35P..even so takes acer so long probably our market here too small for them to be bothered
