Yup, I very well aware on that But at the same time I also know the fact, most Lowyaters are living in their heaven
That's why I hope oil price will reach $20-35 then I'm sure you will have more time to update

QUOTE(abgkik @ Jul 29 2015, 02:44 PM) As to date, I never seen a thief will admit he is stealing. Just like 1MDB's scandal As you can say like this is the oil price are not low enough to tarnish Petronas and because they need to feed cronies, so white elephant projects still have to go on. |

my last on-topic questions were never answered (maybe coz nobody knows the answer), so i guess i'll ask another super-on-topic question. anyone knows what petronas group technical solutions do? you know, apart from the on-surface info coming out of google. i only know that they are located in dayabumi.
hopefully this doesnt get lost in the sea of hostile off-topic remarks. this is a bit late but selamat hari raya maaf zahir batin |

You need to join FB and look for Oil&GAS Vacancies group, join them and you will find jobs over there.hopefully this doesnt get lost in the sea of hostile off-topic remarks. this is a bit late but selamat hari raya maaf zahir batin There's some remarks on Petronas also(not that good as you need to have connection to join Petronas) 2 years back when market are good, as long as you are Malay, you can directly join, but as of today, nope, it is quite hard. If you have some experience, try looking for jobs in Middle East, most ex Petronas employees that worked there won't bother to see Petronas. |

Yeah already liked those pages, checking them on daily basis. Not many for the inexperienced though. You are right about the connection, as an acquaintance who works in the Petronas Group Technical Solutions (GTS) offered to ask the HR for job openings for me ( I cant ask him abt GTS coz I forgot to take down his number There's some remarks on Petronas also(not that good as you need to have connection to join Petronas) 2 years back when market are good, as long as you are Malay, you can directly join, but as of today, nope, it is quite hard. Anyone ever heard of/entered this website before?
www.gulfplacing.com Myself, I couldnt access this website at all after numerous tries. I got this url link after receiving an email unknowingly from where, here goes: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sound like a recruitment company/agency, but nowadays do job applicants ask for money from job applicant to "activate their service" ? Fyi, it came from this email address: veronica.pearl@gulfplacing[dot]com |

I'm a Chinese, so there won't be any hope to join, but you may try again. Now is really not the good time to join unless you are willing to take lower pay. Once you gain experience, then jump ship. Just to let you have some reference, a plant operator in Petronas that getting rm3000 will get rm20000 in Iraq. An engineer would be higher, rm30000 And I have a Haji friend that went for Umrah for 7 times within 20 years QUOTE(jianh @ Jul 29 2015, 07:54 PM) Anyone ever heard of/entered this website before? Oil Producers’ Ugly Duckling Refineries Just Turned Into Swans
"Refiners are benefiting from a double whammy of lower crude oil prices and strong demand,” Hamza Khan, head of commodity strategy in Amsterdam at ING Bank NV, said July 20. “As long as the oil price remains depressed and economies strengthen, refinery margins will exceed expectations.” |

QUOTE(supersound @ Jul 29 2015, 09:52 PM) Is quite logic, why we have to pay first before interview? As supersound mentioned, there has been alot of fraud or swindler case going around asking candidates to pay for a hefty sum and disappear. Just be cautious, normally Operator or Service companies will borne all cost of having you travel to their facility. Else, they will call or skype to perform the interview. No doubt now is hardest time for O&G job seekers, this is why some parties are trying to make some fast money. |
