Guys, Im working in one of major operator company in malaysia. my job position is mechanical engineer, and i'm under project engineering team. But after 1 year here, suddenly this morning my manager jz called me saying that I have been changed to another department, which is Field Development Plan (FDP). What do you guys think about this? Is it a good opportunity for me to develop my career and to climb the corporate ladder? Kinda sad that I need to leave my old department and join the new department. Any of you guys know what exactly FDP's job scope? bcoz i heard they dont get involved in technical anymore, but more towards high level work task. Any advise?

Any advise? sujud syukur la bro. your bos called and say ur moving instead kicked out. already in operator is a big plus. job security another one. at the current climate kalau nak kejaq gaji tinggi susah kot so still to be given opportunity to learn new stuf is a big OK for me.  |

Who told you that/ FDP is such a great scope to be in, you will be involved with Petroleum engineers/subsurface guys and you will eventually become a Leader (Subsurface)..Good $$$$$PM me for more info.. |
