i want to try it becoz i hear many people said that it is a lightweigh bt client
but when i use it, it take 10,000+k mem usage...
and same with my BitComet (coz that task juz have a few peer only)

therefore, i delete it
and didnt use it anymore...

8k or 8,000k??

i open notepad only without any word inside aledi used 5,080k

maybe we use the different unit
for me, the 8,000k = 8MB usage
and your 8k maybe = 8k of kB usage

I've been a long running utorrent user here, until recently, utorrent started to lag! It starts taking up processor usage. I'm not sure what causes it, but when i download some torrents, it'll lag. Anyone know why?

I think I'm experiencing the same problem with you. Did you update your windows before? I updated my windows and this problem started since then. My Firefox and ThunderBird won't start when uTorrent is up.

i'm using FireFox 2.0 and µTorrent 1.6 and it seems fine for me..not using Thunderbird though..recently the speed is down due to lack of seeders cry.gif

what configuration used to increase speed for:-
-Global max number of connections
-Max number of connected peers per torrent
-Global max upload rate

I believe you are throttled.

You can try proxying up. It's not free but we have 1 or 2 forumers who are providing such a service. Well, just one, the other is in beta.

Virtual's VPN service: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/377044 (RM30/30days)

Duock's beta VPN: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/383630 (currently full, keep in view)

And if you have time to do some casual reading: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/345583 (discussion on how to bypass throttling)

Drop on by the Networks + Broadbands subforum, we got lots of threads you can read up on. laugh.gif

i believe i'm not throttled..or not yet anyway..it just lack of seeders..if i'm downloading shows like famous or top rated one,it is still reachable up to 100kBps so it's not throttled right? sweat.gif

anyway, how WebUI works?been reading and dont quite understand tongue.gif

Hi all...I just downloaded utorrent1.6 but i don't know how to set it up. i am downloading a movie. What upload rate should i put? i am using a rm66 streamyx package means 512 don't know got upgrade or not but my status writes downtream 1.5 and my download speed is 50kb/s only.

How do i deal with the connection speed options? And normally where will the files go after i download them??

Thnx a lot
