hye everyone, i'm using both (for testing) µTorrent 1.600 and BitComet 0.75, i must say, µTorrent much more faster than BitComet.while on BitComet i download same torrent file same size max i can get is like 100KBps while on µTorrent is almost double the speed!!! yes...you guys sure wonder why mine is blazing speed, it could be at local peers, but i'm sure with µTorrent, user can view the peer's IP flag...so my view is, very much like US flag but with max 15~25KBps

yeah... same here, 50KBps worried me already, while always on 150KBps~180KBps...even hit 240KBps

BTW, my preference bout portforward saying is OK even thou i havent touch such thing, looks like auto-configured already

mine too, but that exactly port forward thingy, but it's uPnP feature, port forward needs you to disable it, but when disable, the speed will not even increase or worst @0KBps, when enable, up to 150KBps , anyway...lately i felt something, i think TM.Net just capped my P2P...my download really slow... btw, if download speed affected, should be upload too right? but my upload still at same speed, pretty fast upload

what i'm saying is, when we did correct port forwarding, surely we can get good speed...

most probably fake *.torrent you got there, it happens all the time...as i've experience this too...stuck at 99% no matter resume or restart

i'm on 1Mbps@RM99, but detected speed at 2Mbps, download test at TM.Net's Speedtest @1600kbps...

since day 1, since installation of streamyx, but not all day at that speed though, sometimes i do get 20KBps and below maybe due to poor quality of torrent, so, i just download a new *.torrent, and see the speed, if there's a improvement, i'll stick to it, if not, i just delete it and download new one ...

same the way you install nVIDIA nForce, from there, it'll ask you which one you want to setup, just untick/uncheck the nVIDIA FireWall

usually BitComet will rename it's file to *.bc (unfinished/not-yet finished) download, well, you can delete this *.bc (last 2 character) to make it to original filename, and at µTorrent, you set the downloaded/downloading file to that (the file you downloaded with BitComet) directory...hope you get what i mean, , just got out of bed

that's because µTorrent eating up all your bandwidth , well, me myself too don't know how-to resolve it, but everytime i'm on torrent, i just let the PC torrenting, means, i'm not surfing, maybe playing single player games?...

i can get US peer up to 100kBps, is it throttled? anyway, just downloaded a 700MB file for 6hrs which is pretty long for me already...

yeah, same here , after torrenting, it'll become slower - my advice is, at least, you're gonna need to restart your modem/router , this is due (i think), heavy traffic i guess - but i don't know if it's different situation with other modem/router?

mine DSL-500T, this is same goes to my Aztech DSL-600EU and crappy Riger DB102

then you're done on router, now move to software part...say, you're running µTorrent, so go to settings and set port same as your open port on your router, actually, you're going to do it same time, open up router web configuration as well µTorrent, and set the port there...

what your expect from here (TM.Net's Streamyx) anyway...throttled all the time... but anyway, lucky my torrent isn't slow at all, even though through bunch of local peers, but still, work and fast...
