my 1st gen still serving me well after 4 years...no issue apart from storage problem

hi guys, any TV app supported by Mi Box in Malaysia country currently?
I tried to use Mango TV and 泰捷视频, doesnt able to reach server due to location issues. Anyone can help?

only at 4k with hdr. not always, but micro stutter here and there is almost 70%. if 1080p no problem..

Micro stutter yes it is sometimes.

That why I buy another tv box now and never regret ever.

what box you using now ?

mangotv or imgtv, togic, etc... china entertainment streaming apps...
the illegit ones are getting hammered, harrased, little left.
the legit ones are meant for china market, difficult to get from here now.
authorities have plugged them with geo restrictions, banned VPNs for these.
if u can get anything from here, it is just old, partial or teasers only.

for androidbox, the best app now for china-hk-taiwan-korea-japan VOD's is icdrama rss andoroidtv.

Apple TV 4K. It suite my needs.

I choose Apple TV 4K because of
- iTunes Movies
- Auto switch frame rate
- REMUX playback

The only drawback of Apple TV 4K to me is the YouTube only up to 1080p and no support of 4K or 4K HDR due to YouTube is using VP9 codec for 4K and 4K HDR where Apple TV 4K not support on it.

Comparing RM200 to a RM1k set top box? Hahaha just don't.

Btw, for RM1k to spend on a set top box, I'd rather get the Nvidia Shield.

Haha! I don't get Nvidia shield. Why? Simple as it don't support iTunes movies. Movies Anywhere only support certain purchase at iTunes US and up to 1080p only. It will downgrade 4K film to 1080p.

2nd thing auto framerate switch is 100% work in Apple TV 4K. Another reason is Infuse Pro + Plex Client is so much easier to manage than Kodi. I need this to playback all my collection films up to 4K HDR Remux quality.

Those IPTV I didn't watch even it is setup at my Mi Box, means it is not important to me.

Above is the reason I decide Apple TV 4K over Nvidia Shield. I am happy with my choice because it serve what I need.

Download all the Apk you need from the pc and save into pendrive.

Plug your pendrive into the box, go the File explorer and install one by one.

yes i just updated to OTA build 2303 as well. hopefully my Mi Box wi-fi stability will be improved.

edit: still seeing wi-fi drops. i'm going to resort to a USB LAN adapter when my order arrives.
