recently my Mibox suddenly have no power. Suspect is adapter burn. Anyone know where to get the power adopter? quite hard to find. Tried DIY and ACE - don't have.

I'm looking to get a mibox to stream astrogo to my tv. I have a chromecast 2.0 with active astro go account, but apparently astro go web is not compatible with Windows 7 (informed by astro CS). I'm totally new to IPTV and androidbox but i have some basic computer skills and knowledge. I have shortlisted these few items from Lazada:

Their prices differ about rm40 at most, but im worried that i might have got the wrong box. The first 2 links are from same seller (xiaomi online), description on the items seem to be the same, but somehow they are priced differently, so i assume they are not the same? I need the international version as i cannot read chinese.

Can try find ugreen from shopee. Look for usb to dc cable and also get a usb power adapter.

And Astro go Web can run on Windows 7 as I can run this myself but I plug in HDMI from laptop to TV and not via Chromecast.

i got the old mibox 3 (china version and rooted), problem is i cant read mandarin, dont know how to update android, thinkin its time to buy the international version, or should wait for mibox 4 international?

my huat88 iptv provider said due to android version, i cant stream properly, how true is it i wonder?

Astrogo was working fine for me until my GPU got fried one day i sent my desktop for reformatting and GPU replacement. Ever since then, i cant use astro go on Google chrome. The video will freeze after watching for 1 or 2 minutes. Weird thing is, it's working good on Firefox, but we cant cast firefox (except if we choose the cast whole desktop option). damm. Astro customer service is not helpful at all, keep saying the web player is not compatible with Windows 7. bloody hell.

Very sorry to said for this I can't help much as previously I am getting the Mi Box from official lazada site but now no longer sell.

The Malaysia edition I bought last time do can do following
- Netflix HDR (yes after update to Android 8)
- Astro GO (yes include latest version, much easier to setup in Android 8 as no longer FC)
- Unifi (yes include latest version)
- Amazon Prime Video (yes for side load but only up to 4K, no HDR)

Yup now it is very risky to buy, can only based on trust to whatever the seller said.

Maybe others member that had buy before can share which seller is trustable.

Box arrived after 3 weeks. Android 6 then I updated to 8. Got free silicon case for the remote. Everything works except I need to get longer HDMI cable. While on 6 YouTube kept crashing, now on 8 it's smooth and good.

I notice by mi box international which already updated to android 8 have this issue whereby when it is in sleep mode or the TV is turn off for sometime, when I turn on the TV (which in sleep mode), the mi box is cannot come up when I press the on button on the remote. I have to plug out the power cable to reset it.

How to I overcome the issue?

Hi, newbie here on mibox 3. I have some question in regards to your post. Have you try to install other none standard app like astro on the go, etc on this set?

Nope. Only using for YouTube (kids) and Netflix. I don't have much time to watch so currently only installed what's available on play store.

I also had this problem sometimes.

Sometimes it need to bring the remote near for pairing again, sometimes it turns on automatically when I just turn on my tv.

Works on international version just fine.

Hi peeps, newbie here on mibox 4.
I am planning to get this to play all my movies via USB as currently movie subs are not playable on my sharp tv after software update to version 7.0.

Anything else this box can do? (Stream movies, watch live sports via iptv and etc)
