hi guys, i want to buy MI box ( android TV)
where can i get it cheapest ?

also, got anybody here using it with DS video ? how it perform ?

if i remember correctly, it got native apps in android TV.
can it show subtitle ?

also, how about Astro-on the go apps?

those 2 apps, i always running on my previous android box, need to know the performance of mi box before buy it.

diff people hv diff need.

mine just happy with shield.

play games with big title( gamestream, geforce now,) + movie streaming. just enough for me.

i dont hv mi box and netflix acc so cant really sure but u need devices that certified by netflix to play UHD content.

mi box didnt list there. if u hv PC, u can try watch it thru windows 10 apps
netflix is the 1 controlling which device can get those 4k content

sometimes its not smart enough.
some apps not optimise cooding very well and start to hang.
then only way to solve this is just to kill the apps and start it again.

even windows, linux os still have this problem.

this AOTG and unifi play tv is build for full normal android, where ur mi box is running android TV, its a strip down version of full android..
cant blame them since that apps not officially for android TV.

using orientation apps does fix this issue.( mine is landscape layout) just that it still require a mouse navigation.

mi box s.. the latest version, and its running android TV os, which nicer interface.
support 4K netflix and iflix native, download the apps from app store directly, only require to sideload the astro Go since this astro dont care much about this apps on android boxes

thanks. yeah using with live channel, seem nice. not much clutter interface and clean.
i donated for the EPG. today got the EPG access, now more complete with the EPG. tongue.gif ..
now the freeview dev changed to paypal directly, so only need to donate rm10 instead of USD3.00 previously.

no need. u can use that playlist as free. i require the EPG, so need to donate.
but its worth it, since only pay rm10 just once as appreciation to the dev because always update the list.
