I hardly use the voice function. Got seller selling bluetooth one without voice function. The price about RM50 difference. But none that shows compatible with MDZ-16-AB. Only MDZ-16-AA. Is it the same?

I saw somewhere the detail spec of the MDZ-16-AB. The remote is bluetooth + IR. Why got IR receiver if the remote cannot do IR, right?

I’m looking to buy one, please guide me.

There is no need to root for apps.

Rooting is to modify certain things about the ops sys, like block ads.

On the contrary, if u root, some apps will NOT install.

All apps you mentioned is very common and support in mi box 3 international edition not the mi box 4.

Only Astro on the go need side load and make sure the version you get is original version without root.

Mi box storage is freaking small, Kodi will killing your storage space.

Yes you can either IR or BT.
IR remote = Confirm cannot use voice function.
BT remote = Not all BT remote(with voice function) compatible with MDZ-16-AB. Some, just home, back, vol+, vol-, power.

I bought mine from seller 'Visiongadgetry'.
Stated bluetooth(no voice function), actually it is IR.

I got my mi box 3 int 1 week ago and so far the box is very unstable. every time when I on the device it's always very laggy. I have to turn it OFF and ON again to make it stable. any solution?

No solution. This box need time to settle down because the box hardware a bit under power. Wait few minutes and it will stable and smooth.
