What application in MiBox 3 can watch 4k movie MKV file?

Downloaded Fifth Element in 18GB as Mastered in 4K but unable to run in Mibox. But my computer can use 4k player to open.

I have a few days old Mibox 3 64 bit unlocked with Kodi etc installed.  If u r keen I can sell it cheaper.

Btw, does anyone have a solution once the 4gb memory runs out?

I have bought a Xiaomi 64bits unit and I zoom into the storage usage of the unit and I was surprise that the unit consume more than 2 GB for the system use only. 

Another category is the "Other" section, it took 495MB. Is there any method to zoom in more and to remove unwanted item from there.

My Kodi keeps crashing every few weeks and needs a reinstall anyone with similar issue?

Stick with Official Malaysia edition (3S) and not the unlocked edition. Unlocked is not required at all.

If you unlocked (root), the box will be permanent lost the capability to play Netflix in Full HD and 4K because Netflix won't certified root device and not certified device will be cap in 480p resolution only for Netflix.

MiBox 4 is specific design for China market now without Play Store and no Netflix certified.

MiBox 4 spec is very similar to 3s but running Mi TV OS instead of Android TV OS.

They is no single benefits getting Mi Box 4 at all.

MITV OS is a china OS whit too much of junk and ads. My 2S after update with their latest rom with MiTV OS lag until cannot tahan. Now already sit in my drawer collect dust 

Custom OS by Xiaomi with lots of junk for China only and also without Play Store.
Oh! I never know root void the OTG, thanks for pointing this out.

I think I have far than enough apps in my Mi Box. Now already not enough time and not sure pick what to see.

Where did you get CHDV?

Just received my Mi Box yesterday and I'm very happy with the product. Bought it from this seller on Lazada. Cheapest price for the international version (with play store)

Kodi, Spotify, YouTube and Netflix works great on it. Even got the Astro Go app to run flawlessly with some minor tweaks. Would definitely recommend this version of Mi Box.

Easy to fix. A USB card reader can help.

The box comes with built-in Bluetooth. So no need additional Bluetooth dongle for BT mouse.

Those are supported when it can already support advanced codec like H.265.

MiTV is not certified under Netflix because if not wrong it is China edition and China don't have Netflix. You will only get 480p resolution in not certified device.

Also those China edition Mi Box is facing same issue as well. Only international edition include Malaysia edition Mi Box can stream Netflix up to 4K resolution.

Huh, ur description is weird, should say Netflix cannot display 4K in Mi TV?

I was thinking of buying this one. Does it work like plug and play?
