Wow just got ported from Hotlink to Celcom in less than 24 hours! Done in Setia Walk Bluecube. No upfront payment, no RM10/RM5 SIM card scam. thumbup.gif

Imgur album of notifications: http://imgur.com/a/ByhSJ

Sequence of events:

14/5 ~1700 Visit Blue Cube Setiawalk to request MNP. Fill in form and new SIM card received.
14/5 1722 Email from Celcom Customer Service stating order received.
14/5 1751 SMS from Celcom stating port request received.
15/5 1449 SMS from Maxis stating release of number.
15/5 1451 SMS from Celcom stating MNP success and standby for SIM swap notification.
15/5 ~1512 Signal lost from Maxis SIM card. Did not receive any notification to swap SIM card whatsoever. Swapped to Celcom SIM and start using.

It is indeed true Celcom fallback all the way to 3G whenever LTE signal is not strong (Maxis usually can tahan at H or H+, I don't think I've seen the 3G icon before doh.gif ). I only start to get LTE signal at Setiawalk by *#*#INFO#*#* and selecting "LTE/WCDMA Only". But so far so good outside from Setiawalk (that place notorious for bad signal, but Maxis can get LTE easily hmm.gif )

EDIT: Maybank2U TAC request no problem without additional action.

Guy,

Want to check about the "Carry Forward Unused Internet". In the T&C it stated that "You can continuously carry forward your unutilized Internet provided you are active with FIRST™ Basic 38 plan.;You can carry forward a maximum amount equivalent to your Internet’s plan’s quota, i.e 3GB."

From the statement, I'm confuse. Let say in April I'm only utilize the Internet of 1GB that mean I have another 2GB left. So in May my internet quota refresh and I get to use 3GB + 2GB?? This can't be true if based on second statement. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i mean you may carry forward a maximum of 3gb as u mentioned. if april you still have balance of 2gb, then may you will get 3gb (new cycle) + 2gb (carry forward)

First month: 2GB left
2nd month: 2GB + 3GB
Let's say for 3rd month u only use 1GB. So u have left 4GB. U r entitled to carry forward only 3GB into your 4th month. Geddit?

14/5 6PM: Filled and handed in form at Blue Cube
15/5 5PM: Received email from Celcom stating order received

Still waiting for SMS...not even one. And I am already almost out of credit and left with no data for my Tunetalk account because I didnt expect it to take this long for porting over.

I also got the sim from there yesterday. Service quite fast since no customer lol.

Got sim around 8pm, paid my outstanding bill to old telco at 9pm.
Today around 6pm recieved all the port in msg.
Can use new sim around 10min afterwards.

So far, good. From puchong to shah alam, all the way maintain 4g. Im quite impressed to be honest.
I feel that its way, way faster than Umobile 4g.

According to the sales person,
rm 10 is the stamp duty, which is a standard similiar like what you apply Internet line from ISP, i guess is compulsory,
as for the 60sen, huhu, everybody know la huh siapa punya masterpiece,

as for the day you start use till your cycle date, an example, your cycle date which your data will be refresh, and is also your bill date is 4th of May,

24th april - 4th of May got = 11days.
the day you start use till your cycle date =
rm38 / 30days  then * 11days of usage  =  rm 13.93333 -> masuk rm 14 la ok, easy count.

then apply GST , rm 14 + 6% = RM14.84

Then , for the month of May to June = rm 38 + 6% GST (Again, masterpiece from... u know) = rm40.30

so the 1st bill you are suppose to receive by June 4th, will be like

Rm10.60 + rm 14.84 + rm 40.30 = RM65.74
THIS IS WHAT MY SALESPERSON TOLD ME.

End of report~~~~ thanks for reading.  tongue.gif
