So our Skyactiv G is 14:1 right?? Means if using RON97 will get lot of mileage compare with RON95?
Ok I got the answer already, RON 95 is sufficient for the skyactiv G 1.5 since our petrol has higher octane than japan standard petrol(RON92).

The European 1.5L is downtuned 90PS to suit the European roadtax structure, which is taxed based on emission level, not cc. So, if the ECU is tuned to give as little petrol to burn as the engine possibly could possibly run on, the roadtax will be cheaper.

The car is designed to run using RON95. If the car engine is knocking, RON97 will help improve the power & torque figures. For mileage, it depends. If jam in city roads, then both will have the same FC; if travelling long distance at fixed speed, then it have very similar FC; if spirited driving, you won't look at FC and power all the way.

No point linking RON97 with FC, only link it with power & torque.

Petrol and diesel which one better? What's the difference?

In terms of FC, diesel wins hands down. In terms of thermodynamics efficiency, diesel wins over otto (petrol). But, in terms of racing pedigree, petrol wins since it is easier to control the combustion in petrol engine at high rev, than diesel. Diesel needs to be turbocharged to get better drivability. If compare in terms of NA, petrol wins over diesel. Diesel needs steel engine block (heavier but stronger material strength) to accommodate its higher torque (explosion) and compression ratio (typically 15:1 to 20:1, but Mazda Skyactiv-D managed to reduce it to 14.0:1 so can use aluminum engine block), petrol can go with aluminum (lighter but less material strength). Diesel engine can be flooded with some water, and can still work, while petrol engine will cease to work completely. If run out of fuel, diesel need to be bled to let the air out after refuel in order to restart the engine, petrol can just fill and start.

Each has its own merits and drawbacks in their respective areas.

I almost everyday whack the car. I find it no point getting a car and care too much on FC.
If you really care about FC so much, better dont get car... 0L/KM. Right?

Another thing why whacking the car earlier is so that you can find problem earlier when the car goes at high speed cause its still under warranty.
So less worry now compare to later. My 20's cent

Diesel engine or any engine, cannot be flooded with water. U will have bent valves and maybe engine block with hole.

Not too much, but a little bit of water won't stop the engine as it is not using spark ignition, but compression ignition.

Of course, flooding the whole cylinder with a lot of water will bend the valves and cause cracking on the piston as well.

I did CS 85% back in Feb for rm 1500.. I remember was quoted 1700 back then by sa. Then i did get few quotations from other raytech agent, and used it to push down the price with my sa. lol but CS 85% represent security tints for side windows. You might want them to breakdown to solar films and security films. You can get more info from http://www.raytech.com.my/security-solar-window-film/ . Note the product names had been revised in their website though looks same tech specs.

same shop. Vness. Save me the trouble of going too far or long queue.

Actually got different grade only as far as I know. I not really familiar with coating brands. But the actual difference is the lifetime or durability of the coat.
