Dear Experts,

Is this car good to buy?
Appreciate your comment.
*
Resell value not good compare with toyota or honda,
Parts expensive.
Not much room in rear seats.
Other than these, everything is perfect smile.gif
Any way it's japan's car of the year (2014-2015) which beats the mercedes C class.

yeah... but I see Continental Malaysia like never carry Enasave series. Only got the formula D series. But Dunlop Formula series usually <RM300. If got size den good liao. If not den die liao... laugh.gif

I could see it's an urgent issue for us, if we could not find tire for our rim. Anyone when doing their servicing can ask the staff in service center?
They should have ready stock for us to change if really something bad happens to our tire.

They asked to check with tyre shop. They don't have tyres as they also order from tyre shop. sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

This is the Glenmarie service center by the way. sweat.gif

Definitely need to lodge complain already. It's ridiculous to offer irreplaceable tyre to us.

Got a reply, he said his supplier going to get it into Malaysia, since it is a new size here, so expect it to be a bit on the expensive side than normal tyres.

Toyo Proxes R39 OEM tyre for Mazda Demio and Mazda 2 in Europe.
*
Hopefully not as expensive as 17''tyre loh, Thanks

Just wanna share some amazing fc story here.
The fc did improved after the first service.
I used 1 litre of petrol for 23km just now. (4.3l/100km)
No jam and mostly on highway.

I think many non Mazda driver still don't know how the new m2 calculate the fc. The Mazda connect has an application can will show the average fc on everytime we start the engine till we stop. I could see the figure increase and decrease depends on traffic condition.

My SA told me the SC sell the tyre at about RM400-RM400-500,  not sure can believe or not.

Really that expensive, then have to use the other already. Just need to pray that our tyres can last forever.

Other alternatives I got so far:

Michelin Energy XM2 185/55R16 RM260-RM300
Michelin Primacy HP 195/55R16 RM1k+ (can forget about this 1)
Continental CPC2 185/55R16 RM260+/-
Continental CPC2 195/50R16 RM270 (The Yokohama shop near my house recommend this) hmm.gif
Apparently that shop don't have any R16 Yokohama tyres. hmm.gif
*
I think 205/55R16 is more similar to the current wheelsize. (0.6 % larger only), else it will affect our speedometer and mileage reading a lot.

195/55R16 so far i can only find Michelin primacy HP which is RM1k. So either 185/55R16 or 195/50R16 left. hmm.gif

195/50R16 smaller by 4%
185/55R16 smaller by 2.8%
195/55R16 smaller by 1.2%
Might as well buy the original size from SC if RM400-500. LoL! Anyways, it will be around that price if change outside too. Either Toyo or Dunlop, hopefully other manufacturers are going to make this size within this year, else, cham lor.
Why not to worry if one get a tyre nailed at the sidewall and your alternative is to drive with 3 big and 1 small diameter (not the spare wheel) wheels?
*
Yup if only try to find during the incident, it will become big pain to us loh. So better reflect this as urgent issue to Mazda ao at least there is direct replacement which are ready for us. And have to make sure ready in all regions.

just check the infrared, UV or TSER rejection rate in % and compare. Of course the higher the better while maintaining VLT 50% for side windows and 70% for windscreen. icon_rolleyes.gif
Actually M2 is the sportiest B segment. Not the best. icon_rolleyes.gif

It has the wow factor in exchange for (compare to Honda City full spec) space, # of airbags (not so important to me), cruise control, HDMI/mirrorlink (I want this very badly now) and resale value.

Just spoted Falken 912 195/55/R16 RM260... but not everyshop has this brand... unsure.gif
The size is perfect but not sure about the rubber... hmm.gif
*
The tyre means we nees to replace 4 together if only one of our tyre is not working. But the price is reasonable lah. I am sending email to Mazda to push them made the tyre available for us.

Bi-Xenon Projector Headlights for me. brows.gif

With mirror link den no need to play with your phone and drive. It's strictly for Google Maps and Waze since other GPS system need GPS coordinate to go certain places and may not be as updated. laugh.gif

I don't intend to drive my M2 for more than my loan duration cuz after 3 years might need to change many major parts to maintain drivability of the car. I experienced this with my Vios deswai I rather buy new car rather than maintain old car. sweat.gif

Don't so biased la. I also M2 owner ma. biggrin.gif

Tyre replacement option already out there just not exact same size as ori tyre. Honda City owners (those full spec or those upgraded to Honda OEM 16" RIM) also dowan use ori size. laugh.gif

No necessary all 4 la. 2 enough. Push Mazda no use cuz they don't produce tyres 1. sweat.gif
And if they import tyre by themselves, the price will nt be reasonable. sweat.gif
*
If nobody import that, I think eventually we will all use different size. Thanks for the information.
