sometimes the MZD will display the reason why i-stop not kicking in.
on the FC page where they show a car body 1.
A lot reasons are affecting i-stop to kicks in such as ur tyre position, air-con, temperature to name a few.

But for my driving habit, cause I drive in very jam road, usually if short jam I will not switch to N. (Usually I switch to N will trigger i-stop immediately).
Instead of that, I press brake softly so that i-stop wont kicks in, worry if the car keep on start n stop engine gonna make the battery die faster(I not sure is it true or not).

M2 don't have i-ELoop (the one using capacitors, CKD M3 also doesn't has it), only i-Stop, hence the electrical components of the car are sucking the juice away from the electronics. Don't worry, since the car is drawing the electricity from battery all the time. The engine alternator is there to recharge the battery when needed. i-Stop won't use battery to restart the engine, it uses fuel combustion to restart, don't know why it works in Skyactiv engines not on normal engines, ask the Mazda engineers who designed the Skyactiv engines. Hence the restart bit rougher than hybrid cars.
I tot i-stop uses battery also to start the engine. Hence the battery is a bit special(bigger and more expensive compare to normal battery).

When pass by the bump got yik ok yik ok sound.. And I feel some more got kruk kruk sounds when do turning.. Sometime it does sometime it doesn't come out.. Haizzz so worry about it..
*
As for my previous car, the turning got kruk kruk sounds because I remember I always like to make hard full turn that hits the maximum limits for the turn.
If I keep doing that, eventually it will have this problem, so I learn from my mistakes, dont make hard full turn, or dont turn until maximum.

If you don't care about fuel efficiency, go ahead and whack your m2 whenever u drive. it's actually a pretty solid performance engine.

I almost everyday whack the car. I find it no point getting a car and care too much on FC.
If you really care about FC so much, better dont get car... 0L/KM. Right?

Another thing why whacking the car earlier is so that you can find problem earlier when the car goes at high speed cause its still under warranty.
So less worry now compare to later. smile.gif My 20's cent

My opinion spending rm2-3k just for tinted is abit overkill. I rather spend less abit on tinted and the rest on coating. Well up to u guys if u guys r rich tongue.gif
