Year 2018: The free service maintains at 3 years/60,000km, whichever comes 1st. The warranty is extended to 5 years/100,000km.

Year 2019: Free service & warranty sync 5 years/100,000km

Kindly verify with your SC. Also do check your car registration date.

(coz i not sure you bought new / 2nd hand from other ppl / or Mazda Pre-owned programme)

Already checked with Mazda SC, it's registered on May 2018 and warranty will be expired next year, which is a 3 year warranty. However, the original owner lost the warranty book so I need to pay RM60 to reprint it once I got the car

Doesn't sound right. Year 2018 should be 5 years warranty. Don't confuse it with the Free Service. Two different things, and very important too especially when need to claim expensive parts.

Yes exactly! My aunt CX-5 registered on Feb 2018 is getting 5 years warranty, but this Mazda 2 is only 3 years according to SC. Should I call Bermaz for clarification?

Any sifus here have try to install coilover sets on their mazda 2. Mine is 2015 and thinking of going aftermarket.
How does the ride quality feels, better no difference or worse?

Same 2015.
Upgraded to ftuned adjustable.

Stiffer ride, i think mots aftermarket are. More road feedback now.
However much improved body roll resistance at hard cornering.

Anyone got rattling issue on your dashboard? I kinda suspect it's due to the loose tweeter/speaker grill on the dash that make the sound

Anyone got the latest maintenance schedule and cost for 70,80,90 and 100k?
I wanted to compare how much I lose if I took the extended service maintenance package

My 90K rm361, and it's included deposit cleaner that I requested.

You're considering the extended 2 years service package right ? IMO a bit too expensive, 2 years = 4 service = rm600 on average.

Just finished with my 100k km service (milage 68k), they are charging me rm620 at SC (with upgraded full synthetic oil and not changing the spark plug since my milage is considerably low).

Do you go back to Mazda Service centre if your free service ended? Any suggestion for the service centre outside of Mazda in KL?

1. Kindly take note: Although free service ended, but if warranty still valid, you must continue to service car at SC else risk warranty being void.

2. Once warranty ends, you can freely service your car anywhere you want. To save cost, servicing outside is definitely cheaper. For basic EO, you can just go to any workshop to do it (just make sure you/mechanic use the CORRECT oil filter).

3. Depending what other items requires changing, you can opt to source genuine parts from shops like Kemuncak Parts & Accessories Sdn Bhd or others > bring items to your trusted mechanic, pay them labour to get it fixed. Can save
few hundred $$ especially if its major parts replacement.

4. Alternatively, if you have the $$ and wana save yourself from headache > just bring your car back to Mazda SC to get it done.

**There is another option though not verified if it works at all Mazda SC: Ownself get the required original spare parts > bring to Mazda SC to get it fixed. Cost should be in between options 3 & 4, but at least you have a mechanic who is familiar with Mazda working on your car. This one, pandai pandai inquire la**

And btw, yes. I still send my car back to SC for everything. Warranty already ended 2 years ago.

Better go for 195/55/16. Michelin Primacy tyres are not bad if you looking for comfort.

thanks for the suggestion! 195 refers to the width of the tyre that's in contact with the road right?
