Sub-female Heavy Jumper- Hyllus cf. keratodes ♀, by PF T.J., on FlickrThis great-looking spider can be easily recognized by the orange-coloured bristles on the palps. Although this spider can grow very large, it is generally shy and will lie in wait in this unique position (see photo). More on Macro Photography here: PixelsDimension Check out Malaysia's wildlife here: WildLife Malaysia A sub-female Giant Golden Web Spider (Nephila pilipes ♀,) with prey by PF T.J., on FlickrNephila pilipes (juv) ♀, one of the largest orb weavers in the world. The female is many times larger than the males. The webs of these spiders are so strong that they can even trap small birds and bats (which the spider doesn't mind eating too). Webs from this particular genus of spider were shown to be as tough as Kelvar! More on Macro Photography here: PixelsDimension Check out Malaysia's wildlife here: WildLife Malaysia |

Wanted to ask fellow nikon sifus here before I jump into nikon
Is there any good wide angle lens for nikon dx system that costs around rm1k (used or not)? Closest result from my own research is the 16-85mm. The kit lens is doing fine but I would like a more responsive AF lens. And how's the 80-200 f2.8 Af-s like? it's quite an old lens so any common issues with it? |

QUOTE(gerald7 @ Apr 20 2015, 08:36 AM) 3 weeks is a looong time, but if your shooting jpg. should not be a problem for 8GB. but I would advice getting a extra memory cards. because they are dirt cheap. throw in one or two 16GBs and you should be good to go. Normally I would always buy 1 extra battery handy. But if your confident w/ the J1, why not. Not really that long, but I guess kinda depends on the number of places you'll be going to I would say awareness would be your best tool against pick pockets. Id be more worried about wallets and passports tho... I'm shooting jpg. (normal), mostly using shutter speed priority QUOTE(jun_ng_1208 @ Apr 20 2015, 09:31 AM) Totally agree with you bro noted on the battery guys, will bring a spare to keep in handy. But I would recommend bringing and extra battery, because the J1's battery isn't really super heavy duty so bringing along an extra battery is definitely not a bad idea Thanks Gerald & Jun |

travel photog depends on oneself, some ppl take thousands in a few days some take hundreds over weeks. totally depends on your shoot style, and if your primary reason is a photo trip or not.
I have friends who bring Hasselblad out with heavy tripods and all, spends few weeks in one location. I have friends who bring action cam and goes to as many places as possible and uses the action cam to take photos. |

Personally I will go for the 18-105mm/ 18-140mm, longer focal range means you get to experience different types of shooting styles |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Apr 21 2015, 10:41 AM) want an opinion IMHO, kit lens are normally not super fast on AF but usable if you just picked up photography, as for the focal length, having 18-105 is always better than having 18-55 due to the extra reach you can get on the 105mm is the D3200 good with the 18-55mm VR lens or the 18-105mm? and VR2 is faster auto focus..right? As for VR vs VR2, the only difference is just the VR2 is collapseable making it more compact than VR, the optics has no difference according to spec sheet Mirrorless's main benefits is their weight, but bear in mind that mirrorless's lenses are also quite limited (for Nikon) and they are more expensive as well Hope that helps mate |
