The lens of the Canon AV1 is a bit too long, would be nicer if its shorter- not so blurred out because of the DoF  laugh.gif
*
Okay. I will tell the owner of the Canon AV1 to change to a shorter lens next time. whistling.gif

the photos color not so striking to my liking. and the background quite messy.

Thanks for the comment. Tried to make the color more to retro theme. laugh.gif
Background no choice. Another side of view is even worst than this. sweat.gif

So sifu, why you still prefer 16-35 ?  hmm.gif
I have try to ration between them.

Reason to go for nikon:
- It is Nikon - better resale value
- Lighter - lighter easy to carry around
- Nano

Reason to go for Tamron:
- Wider by 1mm - do u really need the extra 1mm? ask yourself. How frequently u will use the 15mm?
- 1 stop brighter - this is the main point why u select Tammy right?
*
IMHO, just get what u want and what u need. If 15mm and f2.8 are ur concern then go for Tammy. laugh.gif

QUOTE(shohoku_14 @ Apr 8 2015, 05:34 PM)
thanks to all sifu's reply, and in between time yes i found several shop in klang valley selling grey set, 1 year local warranty, and i think it is sufficient for me... i did call and ask the shop whether the price listed is inclusive GST or not, and they replied already include GST... cheapest i found grey set is around 5390 which sell by miyamondo, and they have several branch in klang valley, include Taipan USJ, sunway pyramid, PJ uptown, and inside Tesco Kepong Village... maybe i will buy from them when i pay a visit to KL...  brows.gif

2nd hand set, yes it always will be my 1st choice, as i know 2nd hand will be cheaper, but hard to find nice 2nd hand set, especially with box, hood, case etc... and yes the price range is from 4.4-4.7k... anyway still doing research on it which type shall i go, 2nd hand or grey set, but for sure nikon malaysia set is out of range, as the price is too high, after GST inclusive..    cry.gif  unsure.gif

If you are planning to get from Miyamondo for Ap set, remember to call them 1st. IINM, AP set is not ready stock. Is pre-order unit. I have asked them before this. biggrin.gif

Maybe you can try this 2nd unit. icon_rolleyes.gif

Tamron 15-30mm is damn bulky and heavy. Way bulkier and heavier than my N24-70. Whenever I hold the lens have to be extra careful not to drop the keg.

Waa. Lastly u got ur Tammy already. Awesome! thumbup.gif

Not sure if this is a safe bet or not. Ultimately with this lens I lose protection compared to N16-35.
But with those advantages and 3 years warranty, it is hard to resist.

Just be careful should be fine. Ur total loss? RM4k? laugh.gif
