Dear all owners, any of your flx experience both remote control battery after replace, drain super fast. New battery drained out within few days. Is both remote control faulty or is the alarm system faulty?
*
If your remote drained until no light comes out, is remote faulty.

If range is very short until like stick to car there, sometimes is interference from mobile station, you can try it again at other place.

Hood to bumper gap so big. Means the front hood didnt touch the bumper switch lo. Since not touching, the car detect one of the lock isn't locked so can't lock the car.

Where did u get the battery for replacement? Have you checked whether the battery expires? I have similar experience whilst after changed it only last a day or 2, then the battery drained and can't be use anymore. Until I got fedup go order online batteries, sent to my house & I had them changed by myself, then no plobrem liao.

Yes. Both keys. That's y want to see any owner have the same problem before or not.
The mechanics I used to visit ask me to bring back to proton SC to check as he said could be the alarm system, and might need to change the alarm. So I try to ask in forum to look for second opinion to avoid Kena tipu mou la la change alarm system.

Plotong produce rubbish is a well known fact, but alarm module in the car causes your remote fob drain battery is absurdly unbelievable to me. Either your magician is a xingahlan trying to ask you change alarm module which will cost you a bomb because our car got immobilizer spidered with the ECU and fuel injection system. If anything goes wrong during transplant of alarm unit, there's a chance u fry the ECU and will result in few thousands of damage. Or, your magician trying to say your remote fob sudah rosak, but you misunderstood as ALARM MODULE rosak.

From what I see, I'd rather think it's the battery u changed rosaked. Why not like goohtj say, go Mr.DIY buy 1 row go back change by yourself?

A good fresh one will put out 3.2 V, they're getting a bit tired if only 3 V. Lithium button cells have a pretty long shelf life so it shouldn't be expected but having two fail leads to suspecting it.
