Hi there. Is my area covered by Maxis Fibre? Because literally the neighboring taman which is across the street has it (200m away). My address is PT10413, Jalan BBN 11/3P, Taman Desa Melati, 71800, Nilai, N9.

If there isn't coverage, is there anything i can do to get maxis to extend their service here? Literally all the neighbouring tamans have fibre internet. And the reason why my side doesn't have it when i wanted to register a year ago was because maxis owns my area and only provides 2mbps broadband. Unifi infra going up all around me as we speak, but still no choice.

Is there any way i can create a demand list for my area to be fitted with Maxis infra? There are a lot of students in my housing area as INTI International Uni is just 2 mins drive away. The neighborhood across the main road has UNIFI and Maxis Fiber. (200m away) Is there a process that i can follow? Any tips?

I heard that Maxis controls my particular neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods and Unifi is not allowed to enter. Any truth in this? The neighborhood opposite mine , has Unifi and Maxis fiber though

How did i get Maxis to fix a DP at my neighbourhood. It isnt covered by Unifi or Maxis Fibre and they dont seem interested in doing a survey or expanding their services to my neighbourhood at all. But a mere 50m to 200m, the surrounding "tamans" have both unifi and maxis fibre and has been this way for 4 years.

I recently complained to TM to set up unifi in my area. They ignored me and i complained with SKMM. A month later they replied and said they cant fix a DP because my area is under MAXIS and they made an agreement with the developer of my taman. So only maxis can give the go ahead.

How did i get this matter addressed? Any email address i should contact? I've complained to my local maxis store but their reply is the typical Malaysian "i don't know". My area is stuck with 2mbps adsl broadband internet even though i'm like 700m away from INTI IU NLAI

Hi everyone newbie here! Just registered for the new Maxis One Home 30mbps package.Was wondering if maxis still throttles torrents?

If so, do they only throttle from certain times? Or is it a perma throttle?

I'm having the same problem too. Getting 1.2mb/s download speeds for torrents with the 30mbps package. Just installed mine yesterday as well. All this mind you, when downloading at 11am in the morning.
