anyway do u think it's dividend rate sustainable considering the challenging environment now?

maybe only 1st year divvy is "good" to attract pipu to invest, 2nd year onwards almost same with others ASx fund

the second round of ASB2 return will be guaranteed by the upcoming general election

it has historically been shown that ASB dividend rate will surge everytime there's a GE

the next election will show if ASB2 is also affected

plus, insider info: there will be a new ASB2 financing scheme (ala ASB financing) for eligible holders

oh ASB2 financing scheme.. then the dividend need to be above 7sen yearly

Maybank talked about it 1 year already

ASB2 financing scheme will fast track subscription of new ASB2 units

the decision was suspended until the release of the first dividend

it doesn't make economical sense if the financing is provided, but the return is less than the interest rate charged

was thinking juz now...
How about if ASNB launch one new ASx scheme tat invest in foreign market... maybe up to 70% of the allocation, balance 30% invest in Bursa Malaysia..

ASN3 is a balance fund with ard 60% in equity
ASG Sihat skew towards equity with ard 80% whereas both ASG Didik n Sara equity portion is ard 65%
As to whether ASN3 or ASG, it depends on yo investment objective n risk appetite
