This will not be the only one ASNB thread. This forum has long supported more than 2,500 replies in a single thread. However, we still need someone to start a new thread once the existing one has garnered at least 2,500 or more replies.

I agree the TS has done a wonderful job compiling all the information in post #1 and #2. These can be copied when a new version of this thread is created next time. But bottom line is, this thread will have to be closed as soon as 2,500 post count is reached.

Taken from ASNB's latest posting on their FB page ( https://www.facebook.com/413717745430066/ph...pe=1&permPage=1 ). I've heard rumors that SC may not allow for ASNB funds to grow anymore via dividend (I guess they finally realized the loophole) so future income distribution (to use the correct term ) will be paid via cash.

Don't know how true the rumor but for as long as ASNB's fixed priced funds continue to represent a large chunk of the entire local stock market, it poses a systemic risk to the local bourse which is why I guess the rumors continue to spread.

I hope that it would not be discontinued.. It is so difficult to bank in with the limited chinese quota.. Hope that this is just rumor

Went to PM, took more than 1 hr to process the 15 customers ahead of me. This PM is now getting rather slow. The staff I respected before is now rather slow, taking numerous breaks, does not call the next number after the last one has gone till 1-2 mins later. Bet you are saying I am so fussy, demanding, etc. Ha.

At the end, zero for me. Pity me.

Attended the JB's MSAM in 2009, where I managed to open and buy >30k units for one of the ASx. Seems like they released some units for sale during this period. Sorry can't remember the details but maybe can call ASNB for more info.

Mine is ASB the blue book was since 2011.

Come to think of it, a swimmer in a pool will not have the MK with him/her when stopped by a policeman. Yes, the swimmer can go to the locker to get it BUT at that instant, the swimmer does not have the MK. So also liable for the fine?

Other countries also have the same regulation, I wonder?
