Yes the Mirage. But power tarak, handling tarak, space OK OK only for about the price of Almera. Very few people would put Mirage and Attrage to compare with other B segment car in practice.


That 1 also cannot be endorsed yet as it's not confirmed that the industry will practice like that. So have to depend on luck liao.

From what I understand, GST purpose is to give gomen more channels to collect tax and to prevent companies from evading tax. The effects of it to rakyat is still not exactly known yet. This actually has most impact on sundry shops and small/medium coffee shops.

GST is double edge sword. One is to collect revenue, which is true for item that havent been taxed. For item that has been taxed all along like cars, yes, it could be cheaper IMO but not by much. Personally I think it will get cheaper judging by rampant offer by car manufacturers now. However as you can see, not by much. Maybe 2-3K at best for these sub 100K car.

The gomen is running out of money to makan hence the implementation of GST. The car industry is one of the highest tax revenue for them to makan. If the car tax drops which means a huge huge drop in tax revenue, what is the purpose of implementing GST? That is what i feel la.

Just checked with my sa, she told me will only know when can deliver HB version after mid of month. Anyone can confirm this？

Our malaysian market is about 600,000 cars a year. Let's set a minimum benchmark and all cars are reduced RM2000 tax

RM1,200,000,000 = RM1.2billion gone.

Perhaps other taxes collected from other items can accumulate and cover that RM1.2billion? But isnt it better for them to have the best out of it?

yes gomen running out of money to makan so they expanded their scope to makan not just car. Car price reduce also confirm will not be more than 3% increase also will not be very much. What I trying to say is don't worry too much on the GST la. Not like you have chance to escape it as you wish.


I got the same feedback also.

We don't have the proper statistics and figures to argue with this sum. We still have to wait and see. No matter what you do also the gomen will find 1 way or another to makan your money be it car or other products rite?

With GST, they can get back much much more directly or indirectly.

Mine arrived last Friday. Waiting for cheque clearance and then getting it this Thurs/Friday. HB RED at their PDI yard...and its suffering from sun burn right now!!

How's the 6 speaker sound quality? i've heard it shortly yesterday during test drive but unable to come to a conclusion. Feels like the Fiesta's speakers are better

Because i am special~~~~ SA told me not to tell out loud cause i "cut queue". I booked on the 13th Feb(not during the roadshow because of wait and see approach for the confirmation of the headlamp and not during launch because i was mad to see the halogen one with my own eyes at the launch) and nearly got it on the 18th Feb(SA told me very high possibility to get on 18th but turns out her boss bullshited her) so it was delayed a week to 27th Feb. Mere 2 weeks to get my car, not bad right hahaha.

HOWEVER, im hoping and praying hard im not getting a car that was rejected by someone else.

That could also be the reason why my SA asked me to keep it low hahaha

After test drive and I'd say typical current stock speakers... same feeling with CX5 and Nissan Sylphy.

Hopefully by the time you send in for your 2nd service, I would have gotten my car. Because the feeling of seeing someone already gotten his car and driven 1k and done already the 1st service, and I've yet to have gotten my car is shucks..
