just met my SA this morning and got good news and bad news confirm first batch is 2014 cause they will use the date on the stamp duty of the car since imported from Thailand, cannot change this unless u want to wait for next batch, then will be 2015 but will be sometime in March good news is i can get the car b4 CNY but it will be as i mention 2014 year and also not the red colour that i wanted, only Grey available, which i took anyway so fingers crossed can get it by this week!

QUOTE(GNR @ Feb 9 2015, 08:09 PM) I think it's best that we test out fuel consumption w/ iStop and then w/out (drive for a month with iStop then another month without). Then compare the difference to find out the fuel savings coming from iStop. If the difference in fuel savings does not justify maintaining such an expensive battery, then no point having it, just have a normal battery will do. We should share this and compare with each other to also see iStop works best for what sort of drivers and whether it is reliable as a fuel saving method in general. good idea to compare FC, but is there a way to disable iStop?

QUOTE(pizzy @ Feb 10 2015, 10:56 AM) i-stop will be enabled once u restart the car even u turn it off previously perhaps, u can change to conventional battery and the i-stop will be disabled oic thanks for the info just a suggestion but i think its better we get our own separate forum for us mazda 2 owners, easier to separate all the info into each sections, maybe something like forum.lancerzone.com now just want to find battery or bulb info have to search through the whole thread lol

QUOTE(electron @ Jan 27 2015, 05:21 PM) just realized that the tyre size for the Mazda 2 is 185/60/R16 and not 185/55/R16 That is a rather odd size, at least for now another rare tyre case but i think after a while we should be able to get the same size just need to wait for the tyre shops to bring it in same like the Lancer 2.0, standard tyre used was yoko advan 215/45/R18 which was damn rare at the time, but now u can find it everywhere

Aquaplaning or hydroplaning by the tires of a road vehicle, aircraft or other wheeled vehicle occurs when a layer of water builds between the wheels of the vehicle and the road surface, leading to a loss of traction that prevents the vehicle from responding to control inputs. If it occurs to all wheels simultaneously, the vehicle becomes, in effect, an uncontrolled sled. Aquaplaning is a different phenomenon from water on the roadway merely acting as a lubricant. Traction is diminished on wet pavement even when aquaplaning is not occurring sos kicap: wikipedia This post has been edited by terion: Feb 10 2015, 02:38 PM
