The K55 side panels are not the greatest for airflow, but still, your temps shouldn't be this high. Did you make sure that your cpu cooler plate is in complete contact with your cpu i.e. no gap, screwed down tight etc.? It happened to me that two of screws were not aligned, and after getting that sorted out, the temps went back to normal.

I have eyeing the Formula X1 for a while as well, then one day the listing disappeared. I found it, and the price has gone up to a whopping RM1.4k (I remember it being around 1k previoulsy?). Even more ex than the Mjolnir. Madness.

i would say yes... im the "early adopters" hence the price i paid is reasonably cheap, yet the quality doesnt feel inexpensive in any ways.. the gaps and fittings are just right..

Also the formula x1 you mentioned? i dont really think you should pay 1.4k for it imho.. there are a few upcoming cases that implement the same design with much cheaper price that are not available on TB.. smile.gif smile.gif

Ooo nice build you got there! Yeah the Kevcase has been very well reviewed. They also have a white version going for RMB1k, which i think is rather reasonable and am tempted to get. Can you fit a 92mm AIO under the PSU like the makers claimed?

You mean there will be S1 clones coming out that aren't China made? Nice! Where are they and how do i get my hands on one?

i dont see how you can fit any aio below there... and i didnt bother asking also.. if he says you can maybe he's referring to how Dancase A4 fit it down there.. i dont see the need of it also.. the space you have there is very little even with custom cables tucked like this.. i am preparing this for custom water cooling..

i mean its still china made but yet to be available on TB just yet..

That reservoir/block below the PSU/MB/GPU is nice, I wonder if it fits the Ghost.

Any idea where to get that?

I was walking around lowyat mall last Friday and saw several shops having the MSI Aero ITX RTX 2060 in stock, for those of you wanting to build in the K39.

Price is about RM1500 but I'm sure that's negotiable.

Might be out of topic, but its still related to ITX. Halp!

[WTA] Anyone use Metalfish 1u psu? Need recommendation on fan replacement, as the stock fan is really loud.

Tried Noctua A4-20, but not as good as stock fan in term of cooling. Any idea?

Need fan 40x40x20mm and 2 pin connector.

Thanks

How many watt is your PSU. The noctua is the best silent solution already.

The only solution is to get a higher watt with higher 80 efficiency so it runs on lower loads and thus staying cool.
Not sure about the metalfish, but i had the delta 500w 80 gold 1u and it is quieter than my GTX1070 mini in both load and idle.

The psu is 500W. Dont know whether its true power or not, or what rating it is. Bought it bundled with the case. After some reading, i figured the noctua fan is 1/3 the performance of the stock fan. GG

Looks like it doesnt even have a normal 80plus effeciency. Guess you're putting in some load with your setup that's why it runs a little hot.
Well.. the loud fan is quite expected on a flex setup. That's why i changed to a slighly bigger case that supports SFX sweat.gif
