hello there, can anyone suggest sff case not cube for mATX? (actually i'm using FlexATX, Asus Prime B360m-K, 22.6x18.5cm, not so mATX like 24x24cm)

if there's no choice then i guess i will go with iTX + sff case

running i5-6500 & GTX1060 3GB in a Fractal Design Node 202 here.. so far no issues with overheating icon_rolleyes.gif

but I'm just a casual gamer, and adding 2x 120mm Thermaltake Riing SP fans really helps

sorry for the late update, just downsized my build from mid tower (Tecware Nexus M) into a sff (cube), you guys can check out Golden Field N2-S (in Lazada has it) or known as Kolink Satellite Plus.

This case support mATX but not all size (mATX is up to 22.6cm x 18cm), but for mine I'm using Asus Prime B360M-K (2 slot memories) and the size is 22.6cm x 18.5cm (only 0.5 cm more)

For the CPU cooler height, it support up to 165mm. I'm using Scythe Fuma Rev B, and it height 149mm then it should be no problem.
For the GPU it support up to 280mm, if u got longer card then u need to do some modification at the front grill.
For the PSU it support up to 220mm (with GPU card under 190mm), 140mm (with GPU card over 190mm) hence I would suggest using SFX PSU for easier cable management & efficient use of space.

You can fit 3 x 3.5" hdd, or 4 x 2.5" hdd/ssd depending on your configuration. The case has one exhaust placement on the rear case 120mm fan (not included) For the front intake is kind of disappointing but confusing also because the front panel has a hole at the bottom, and the PSU will act as your intake into the case.

Here is the list from my old build:

Tecware Nexus M (Mid Tower Case)
i5-8400
Asus Prime B360M-K
Scythe Fuma Rev. B
ADATA Premier DDR4 2400 8GB x 2
Palit GTX1070 Dual Fans
Corsair VS550
SSD: GALAX GAMER SSD L 120GB
HDD: Hitachi - Travelstar 1 TB 2.5
Thermaltake Riing 12 LED RGB

And here is what i add/change to my new build:
Golden Field N-2S (also known as Kolink Satellite Plus)
SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 480GB M.2
HDD: Western Digital - Scorpio Black 500 GB 2.5 x 2
Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM 120mm
Arctic Accelero Xtreme III (for my GPU)
Silverstone SX500-LG V2

Here is the album of my downsized build Kolink Satellite Plus Downsized

For video reference of build, you guys can check out this two videos Kolink Satellite Plus and Kolink Satellite. Both case are the same, just a lil bit change of design.

After u install that gpu cooler does it still maintain 2 slot thickness?
*
yes it still maintain 2 slots thickness. I'm using the Arctic Accelero Xtreme III. If you're going for the latest Accelero model the IV one, u need to have at least 4 slots because they have add on a big heatsink on top of the pcb board.

im using ac accelero twin turbo ii now. it take almost 3 slot
*
maybe because of the heatsink pipe causing the design to take almost 3 slot(it is bend a little upwards than the Accelero Xtreme III heatsink pipe). i almost purchase the IV version but after looking some picture closely, the IV version will take 4 slot which in my case wont fit my case at all.

Hello guys, am still new to SFF but gotta switch over from the Thermaltake core g21 to the Lian Li TU-100 since I will be heading back to Malaysia for a while, wanted to ask if anyone have experience in drilling holes in their casing especially non-plastic ones?
I've just modified my case using an angle grinders. I asked my friend advice (since he's working as contractor) for modifying small things like pc case, he advice me to use dremel @ rotary tool as it is safer, easier to handle and more accurate than large scale drill.

I am planning to bring the case to some mechanic to drill since they have all sorts of driller and even tiny ones, now I just need to figure out how to drill the side panel's side for the fan cables.
My only concern now is the dust from the drilling since the side panel is made of aluminium, will see how it goes when I get my fans and the measurement.
*
i tried to bring a steel workshop once but they refused to help even im offering money. guess i think its a hassle to do small modification like that. to clean the steel dust, i used magnetic screwdriver to remove the dust, blow with air compressor and rub the whole case using old cloth.

Guys, any idea how to cool down the temp on the gpu? Got only one fan mount at the bottom, Currently using 120mm slim fan, and underclock and undervolt the gpu. If use 140mm fan, will it affect the temp?
*
got more pic? cant see clearer your build. maybe elaborate what component you're using.

btw from what i saw, tried to use sfx psu. maybe will give the case some airflow.

Thinking of letting go of my Nouvolo Steck with dual expansion units for rather cheap. Ended up not liking it for my project but I already messed up one of the aluminium side panels by drilling 4 holes where screws would go. Hence why I am considering selling for cheaper than cost.

Anybody interested? If so can also PM me

Any one try the thermalright axp-90 full cpu cooler yet? Performance is much better and cheaper than the cryorig c7!
*
seen it. but still waiting for somebody to do proper testing. test that i saw compared with the black ridge, it is on par/slight better but the black ridge setup was wrong. so maybe wait a lil bit more for more convenient test with all other cooler.

btw anybody looking for kolink satellite plus/golden field n2-s, i got one to letgo. To Letgo
