Hi, can I ask does anyone know of any good alternatives to Velka 5?

the case in point, everyday portability (can carry between home and office).

Also, not-related, but still weighting in mind:

Can anyone recommend a good case that can fit a CPU cooler of 62mm and above for SFF case?

The reason why I'm asking for 62mm and above is that Alpenfohn Black Ridge 2 has a setup (assuming you do it right) where you can slap 2 fans (2 noctuas, one 92mm another 120mm, or both 120mm if you can find very-low-profile RAMs) and they all stack up to 62mm in height (unless you just want to go a single fan, which is fine).

I'm not aware of any "modern-day" sff cases that have such height clearances. (yes I understand slapping such a fan to a PC would be ridiculously tight fit)

any pointers and advices will be very much appreciated.

i would suggest geeek N501 (uses sfx psu) or geeek a35 (uses flex atx psu).

i dont think the build quality is the same. fully metal vs aluminum frame and acrylic.  even my jonsbo u1 plus is better quality compared to the A50.

but A50 looks good in picture.  brows.gif

It certainly does when you can see the inside of the case...
Just got myself a full black noctua A9x14 PWM and delta rgb ram waiting to be swapped.... brows.gif brows.gif
in need of a rog strix 3 fan gpu to perfect it.... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I never knew shoppee has stock for that because i gave up on sourcing locally long ago and only look at amazon and i highly recommend Taobao lolol.

For the flex PSU, taobao has alot actually. Those Delta 400-500w 80plus gold/platinum are pretty good buys.. using one myself. There are some shops who rewired them to make it into modular too.

Now im hunting for a RTX2070/RTX2060 super ITX size which seems out of stock everywhere even on amazon :/
*
how do you buy from amazon btw? (its Amazon US kan?)
Noticed that they do ship to Malaysia but... how about custom tax? haha...

the cpu cooler L9A/I?
*
Correct sir.... will be swapping it with the blackout version in the future when i got my other hardware and sekali upgrade it...
i might change the cooler too to something like blackridge but not blackridge.. smaller ones with a size of roughly 120mm..
instead of intake fan, the new setup will change to blower type of cpu cooler.. reason being i might change new case, the ghost s1 (because it has no exhaust fan hence i think blower type would be more ideal)

hi SFF sifus... just curious about the Level51 Impulse SFF PC. wanted to get ur opinions on it as i cant find any reviews of the case especially. quite curious about thermals with the below specs and also if there are 2.5" SSD slots. no idea wat PSU provided as well. RAM and SSD also no mention wat model/brand.
https://www.level51pc.co/welcome/ProductconfigBaseic/impulse

RM 4140 gets you....

AMD R5 3600 with Stock cooler (not doing any overclocking coz dunno how - add RM100 for ID-Cooling IS-40X )
ASROCK B450 Gaming- ITX/AC
16GB DDR4 3200 MHz Memory (2X8GB | Dual Channel)
ZOTAC RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6
512GB M.2 NVME ULTRA FAST SSD (R: 3500 Mb/s | W: 2000 Mb/s) (Base)
802.11ac WiFi (2.4G / 5G WiFi) With Bluetooth 4.0 (Base)
*
lol bro... you know you can get better deal/specs with that price if you are willing to do more research and googling on building a sffpc right?
no hard feeling but just my 2 cent... hehe..

r5 3600 - rm800-900
asrock b450 - 400-450
16gb 3200mhz i assume its hyperx - 380-500
zotac 2060 - market price
512 gb m.2 not sure what brand - giving it an est. of 450-650
wifi is unnecessary if you buy the gigabyte b450 wifi mobo
they didnt say what psu kan? this will be the most painful price to pay for tho the sfx psu.. corsair 450w gold should do it, for about rm450-500

the case? do some research on your own..
that id-cooling is40x for rm100 is a joke... add about rm50-70 more i can get axp90 full copper

18 weeks? That's nearly 5 months! Was it worth the wait?
*
i would say yes... im the "early adopters" hence the price i paid is reasonably cheap, yet the quality doesnt feel inexpensive in any ways.. the gaps and fittings are just right..

Also the formula x1 you mentioned? i dont really think you should pay 1.4k for it imho.. there are a few upcoming cases that implement the same design with much cheaper price that are not available on TB.. smile.gif smile.gif

Ooo nice build you got there! Yeah the Kevcase has been very well reviewed. They also have a white version going for RMB1k, which i think is rather reasonable and am tempted to get. Can you fit a 92mm AIO under the PSU like the makers claimed?

You mean there will be S1 clones coming out that aren't China made? Nice! Where are they and how do i get my hands on one?
*
i dont see how you can fit any aio below there... and i didnt bother asking also.. if he says you can maybe he's referring to how Dancase A4 fit it down there.. i dont see the need of it also.. the space you have there is very little even with custom cables tucked like this.. i am preparing this for custom water cooling..

i mean its still china made but yet to be available on TB just yet..
