I noticed that one of the tags was bunkbeds. Does this table come along with the bed? I'm thinking of emulating this setup for my kid. Biggest concern is that it's dark under there, dont want to ruin eyes and might be hot and dont want to run AC all the time because electricity bills.
I've seen your posting on Reddit, very nice! I guess your set up doesn't allow for the top hats to fit?
Had to undervolt and lock the clock at 3.6Ghz @1.10625V and was able to keep it under 80c
My temps on stock is Cinebench it shoots up to 91C Gaming sometimes will reach 88C after 2-3 hours non stop gaming.
Using a 110W TDP 4 Heatpipe Jonbso Cooler. Don't think the L9i will outperform this with its 2 heatpipe design only. Looking at thermalright AX90 and AX100 but sort of worried of the clearance. :/

what case are you using? never tried the jonsbo but my 3600 stock was kept under 90C on prime95 smallest fft (i believe it’s much hotter than cinebench) on the noctua L9am4 version (slightly more fins than the i) managed to maintain 3.8ghz throughout 30 mins in a metalfish S3 with arctic mx4.
it stayed 75C highest during gaming (i usually play sim racing and F1 which uses significant cpu)
time to update your budget itx builds from sg13 or qbx to this $80 - 100 case
coolermaster is going to sell a lot of this.
totally agree. Cooler Master has done it well with this case
given the dimensions, it is similarly sized with Cougar QBX & Raijintek Ophion Evo but given the flexibility & accessibility the NR200 is far more superior
Ahhh, looks like more of an air choke to me. Try removing the side panels and see if the temps improve? if yes, then you might start go look for mesh panels to go cut it to size as DIY panels which i did before
i wonder why the high temp on idle? i personally have used several sff cases, namely a50, a31 and k39 & k99, tried with both l9a and axp90 copper... both are good for me and never hit 80c... didnt install correctly is it? hahah
