QUOTE(wadzee95 @ May 17 2020, 08:24 AM) Sharing my SFF PC Build (4.7L) Nice and clean setup bro. https://pictr.com/images/2020/05/17/7PvIT9.md.jpg https://pictr.com/images/2020/05/17/7PvwhU.md.jpg https://pictr.com/images/2020/05/17/7Pvuxf.md.jpg Can know your specs and how is the sound for the 1U psu? I wanted to get something similar to this too but a bit worried about the heat and noise of the psu |

QUOTE(Current Events guy @ Jun 1 2020, 10:50 PM) Yeah, a lot of users have that case because of the low price. hows the fan noise on this? You can do a search to take a look at the different specs and builds. Here's mine Specs: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thermals: CPU: Idle - 45°C, load - 70°C (undervolted PPT 75W) GPU: Idle - 35°C, load - 70°C (not yet undervolted) Pictures: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Current Events guy @ Jun 2 2020, 11:32 AM) CPU fan and GPU fan are quiet, I've undervolted to reduce thermals. I'm using a noctua 90mm fan for the CPU cooler. nice! i went with the K55 because worried about the 1U flex PSU sound. If I saw your post earlier might have gone with K35 instead its much smaller than the K55. Nice silver plated cables too! It definitely helps for cable management in such cases eh? ^^PSU fan is silent. Usually people swap out with noctua 40mm fans because theirs is loud. Mine isn't. The PCH fan is the loudest fan in the build. Need to update bios to get the option of controlling the fan speed. |

Any b450 owner here? Contemplating whether will be the B550 worth waiting since price is almost twice of B450.
Only Benefit of going B550 that I see 1) PCIE4.0-Not much diff since not having a PCIE4 Nvme ssd 2) Extra M2 Nvme Slot - I do have a 1x512GB and 1x 1TB Nvme but 1TB shud be sufficient for me since I only play Destiny and Apex Legends. 3) Wifi 6 - This would need some input from B450I owner whether you guys have tried upgrading the wifi card to Intel AX200, i already have this card so it should be a simple swap for the upgrade. 4) Overclocking - Not really ocing but rather more on undervolting to keep temps in check for me. 5) Extra Fan Header - no room for additional case fans in my build so non-issue So, really hard for me to justify the roughly estimated 300-400 extra for B550 :/ Source:WCCFTECh |

QUOTE(MrSpeedy @ Jun 13 2020, 01:59 PM) Most people will spend extra $ for X570 instead of B550 because it is huge increament pricing compared to its predecessor B450. Regarding the wifi upgrade do you have plans to upgrade it or keeping it at ac is good for you?Or you can skip entirely and wait for the next gen Zen 4 with AM5 socket + DDR5 ram Comming from B450 user. |

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jun 30 2020, 10:13 AM) with the 240mm AIO, I got the 9600k to be around 60 degrees under gaming load/few runs consecutive runs of Cinebench R20, and 1-hour run of Prime95 only pushes it up to about 70 degrees waaa even the Cyroid C7 CU also cannot tame the beast eh :Xcompared with the old Cryorig C7 Cu that I used previously, gaming/cinebench is around 85 degrees, prime 95 shoots up to 90+ in less than 10mins, and after 15mins a few cores reached 100 degrees lol Nice temp there! |
