anyone using DIY fert for the plants?.

i did some jalan-jalan on the net, and found this recipe:
http://www.aquariumlife.com.au/showthread....urce-and-Recipe
(from my understanding, this is a combination of macro and micro fert in one bottle right?)

or your guys have other links or tutorial or anything related to shared?
still comparing cost  & effectiveness of buying store brew fert of homemade fert..

I'm using DIY fertz. 2 bottles of macro and micro. I'm using Estimative Index dosing method. It's so much cheaper in long run, I think with the amount I have, it will last for 2 years and the money I spent is less than rm100.

I was using this as a guide http://www.aquariumcalculators.com/aquariu...timative-index/

It took me a while to find it as well. Go to lelong.com.my, there's a seller called Algaefarmer. He is selling it. You can do COD near sungai buloh.

Then you can buy those bottle from daiso, I bought 500ml.

Tips, you can put water into the bottle and press it once to find out how many ml per press, so next time when you start dosing it, you don't have to measure it. Just press the number of times.

Unfortunately yes, I think he's the only one selling it in fish shop. You can try your luck in plant nursery shop, the link you sent over, I saw those are products from plant nursery shop (http://www.aquariumlife.com.au/showthread.php/2734-Dry-Fertilisers-Source-and-Recipe)

The most expensive one is the CMS+B Trace mix, it's just a little but it's about rm20, maybe last for a year? The rest can last for at least 2 years.

Just leave it alone.
Reduce the feed.

Prolly new tank syndrome n you over feed the tank.

Dont put any med as it will only prolong the cycle.

Btw, angle fish is not tetra friend...

shrimp tank + co2 is not a good combo bro.
thats y shrimp breeder only have moss in their tank. which is low tech, can survive without additional co2

Kinimaro....im at puchong but anywhere in kl should be fine. Im looking to start with soil but seems like sand is easier to take care and cheaper. Any suggestion between this 2 type?
