I have the biorings at the bottom like you said & with the amount of water pumped up by the pump, the biorings always submerged.

Thank you for the tips. I will find some driftwoods and/or branches. I also need to create more bubbles in the water. Fish seems like it.

Regarding ikan puyu, there is a misconception among people that because the fish known to live & survived in the mud water, it also means that need to use mud water in the aquarium. It sound funny but it's true. If not because of me, my aunt will use mud water. tongue.gif Not because I'm an expert, newbie really but my thinking is how to enjoy looking at the fish if it lives in the mud water. biggrin.gif

sorry for your loss. if its the ups, it will used to be hooked up to the air pumps.

2hours then died is mostly due to air pump. also possible that your tank is overstocked? so if filter not function then its suddenly become very toxic within that span of time...

Is it okay for 3feet planted tank?

i just bought a 3 feet aquarium(the normal standard one)

cannot remove. if u remove it, the tank will break apart when its filled with water. its designed to hold the tank together when water is filled into the tank.

if you want us to help, you need to provide the pictures or description of the problems. we will see what are the best options. if its too much work, it will be recommended to get new.

cheers.

yes i'll be posting up the pictures soon. it's an old aquarium and it used to be a salt water tank but my dad found it too high maintenance and changed it to a freshwater tank. there are these sections in the aquarium that i don't truly understand. i'll post the pics soon when i have the time.
