QUOTE(kizwan @ Mar 4 2016, 01:19 AM)
I have managed to turned a couple of skinny cats to not skinny anymore. In addition to kibbles which is their regular food, I also fed them two spoon of wet food with every meal. Skinny cats doesn't eat a lot, that's why I didn't changed to wet food altogether. 2/3 of the wet food would be wasted.

I feed mine combo wet and dry, and just cover the rest of the wet food and place in the fridge until their second meal at dinner.

The cans I buy are 5.5oz and I only feed them 1.6oz and 1oz respectively. So the rest of it goes back into the fridge until dinnertime.

Same here. I feed my cats two spoon of wet food per cat. It actually a soup spoon. So it's slightly bigger spoon. The rest goes into the fridge.

Yes. Please neuter your cat. He doesn't need to mate, and we don't need more cats in the streets.

Please consult your vet. A cloudy eye isn't really normal.

I have google the symptoms. seem similar to cataracts. but my cat is only 8 months old and is not obese.

Initial observation i could say the cat is less playful like before.

i'll consult with the vet this Friday. now, will observe any significant changes in cloudiness.

Corneal injury can lead to the same thing too. Corneal injury/scrathes >> infection(s) >> white layer. I don't recommend delaying but it's your call. When it become serious, it can take a long time to heal.

kinda related to the issue

my cat likes to sit on a high cabinet to look outside during mornings

the sun shines directly into his sight

will this be no good to him?

Aware on that. The issue is I am quite busy this week with lots of back to back meeting. Need to see what I could reschedule for tomorrow and bring him to vet ASAP.

Any affordable dry cat food to recommend? I bought prodiet and really regret when opening it, full of vibrant color. Seeing those color really defeat the purpose whether they are using real fish or not.
