The link that RP gave, is to apply under the RM500 HSBC promo and for that Shopee or Lazada voucher, have to use in 1 go.

That does not sound right though

I applied with RP, answer questions via whatsapp.

Hsbc called me for confirmation and to upload payslip. Then verify my work place via work email.

That's it

No online form to fill? RP contacted me through WhatsApp (automated). Asked several questions and then I received an email stating HSBC staff will contact. Then, later at night the WhatsApp followed up and asked if I have submitted online. I selected NO and it gave a link that directs to the HSBC online submission form, which has HSBC own promo. Let's see if the staff contact me tomorrow and I will about this.

The questions being asked on whatsapp kinda form the application form. So, no actual form or eform.

I think the question and link was automated on WhatsApp. RP contacted me directly through phone call, from the conversation it seems like once I received the email saying HSBC will contact me, then there's nothing else I need to do until the bank calls.

I'm still waiting for the phone call though..

Haha typical HSBC with confusing procedure. When applied online, they asked for doc uploads.

I should be getting my call tomorrow then.

Your application is fast. I applied at 30th Dec via HSBC website, and received call for details confirmation at 10th Jan, then no more news until now. Application status is still In-Progress.

Waiver as in Annual Fee or SST? Just to confirm, the Annual Fee is waived with 12 swipes right? Or did I misread something? LOL
