You're supposed to receive the code in SMS. From some earlier post, it takes around 6 weeks after you meet the minimum 2000 spending criteria. Could make it faster if you call their customer service.

Not sure what is credit advance. Balance Transfer? Cash Advance? T&C says you can do BT. BT will cost you 2% per annum if you're a new customer.

Tip ah. Wait until you have something expensive to buy. Then only apply. Or prepay your bills. That's all I could think of, without spending good money to chase after "bad" money.

Was charged annual fee of RM240 to my MPower CC, still pending for waiver.
Managed to get SST waiver with conditional of 3 swipes any amount within 45days.

are u topup by ewallet, if yes, then u not qualify with the rm500.

Applied hsbc credit card through RP, didnt get the iphone 😩 but noticed that some that applied & activated in few days also didnt won...my card took forever to arrive & i knew that i didnt stand a chance 😢

guys just beware if you guys are raking up spends for that lazada rm500 voucher, i just called them and they told me that payment through grab pay is not considered, while i've spend more than 2k. my due date for this 28th july. hmm

My very first time escalate to BNM.

May : Immediately called CS upon receive of card and was told my card is approved under the RM500 campaign, immediately spent 2k.

June : Email HSBC to ask when I will be receiving the lazada voucher, the CS told me this is for NTB customer only and the T&c was there from the beginning. Fine!

8 July : lucky I have the screenshot to prove that t&c was not there when I applied, so I submit all supporting to BNM to seek their assistance. Today received email from HSBC, In short, they have informed the relevant department to include me in the next month fulfillment list for the rm500 lazada voucher.

Really shock they dare to say the t&c was there from the beginning and lucky I have kept the screenshot.

New to bank customer. U can try to email via the online banking portal to check the status. Did you check have they uploaded the tnc when u apply? I look up, look down, left and right confirm no tnc when I applied and keep my screenshot just in case. Also called up CS to confirm my card is approved under this campaign.
