My bro in law relakks is working fine in subang jaya but mine is not working. I have sent an email to support. When I log in to site its fine. I only used for a good 3 hours only till it went kaput.

I *think* once this spreads a LOT more, then the services would be in big trouble. Just the same as TMNet- Unlimited usage, framework not ready, by the time RELAKKS or FindNot goes big they might be using Traffic Shaping for themselves!

I gave up on using SOCKS/SSL proxies.. I keep getting proxy error in uTorrent...

Those companies are not set up to handle only Malaysian users suffering from throttling by StreamyX. Users in other countries are also using their services to circumvent throttling by certain ISPs in their area.

He signed up late last nite/early morning and I last nite. I will post here if I here anything from support.

Maybe we can sue them for blocking Malaysia after some of you guys paid for an account. Dereliction of Customer Service or something.

Guys..about he proxies. After I've keyed in the proxy, type and port, do I need to do port forwarding for the port I've selected? Having proxy errors like others.
Doesn't seem to be helping much. Still trying.

I'm considering signing up for Relakss in the next few days.

Do not sign for relakks yet as most registered users from Msia are unable to use their account.

make sure u use socks proxy.. not http proxy. http proxy will not help on p2p

Relakks is kinda unstable especially at night. So don't sign up if you think it's a one solution to all your problems. It is not. All the services out there has its downside.

THe only solution is for TMnet to lift the throttling. Which I don't see happening. So we are screwed...

Yeap...relakks server is down.....launcher can connect, but cant even go to yahoo page and BT is down to 0kb.

Guys, here's my opinion for some of this VPN testing with 3 of my 1mb lines at same place. They are all easily go 100KB for Downloads, only certain torrents get throttled where it only stays at 5-10KB.

1) your line has to be very good SNR & Line Attenuation, or else, it will get disconnected or just idle out. My testing: I tested relakks on my 1st line, it will get disconnected every few hours and if it goes high speed, it will freeze. Then, I tried on my 2nd line, to my surprised, it is still going 90-100KB for past 2 days without disconnected.

Then I tested my 1st line again 'without' any VPN connection, go with 5 torrents as usual, it didn't time out for past 12 hours, even with newsgroup running full speed. So, I can conclude it depends on quality of line, coz this VPN, SSL pressure with more encripytions which the line couldn't handle. That's why many users get this slow speed, disconnected problems.

2) I tried on SSL-Tunnel before on 1st line, not much trouble, maybe it uses proxy socks5, but my subsciption was cancelled by them same as many here. I used verify paypal to pay for it, but they refunded to me. I think they blacklisted our country.

None of them are working..
Yesterday I was using a korea proxy and it works well.
But now..Died again..
