Hmm will try it when I get home through the ST proxy and see if I can connect. I know jaring is same issue as I tried yesterday from work. So did they actually tell you the service was discontinued? Also what is the error mesage when you try to log into tunnel launcher?

yup st is blocking all ip from malaysia, Probably they were afraid and wondering why suddenly huge amount of interest from malaysia....

anyway as stupid as it sound, i was able to use their st program to bypass their blocking.... that means u can use proxies to beat their blocking practices...
i just activate internet explorer proxies on their software so that i can access their website... after deactivate it rather use streamyx to access internet web sites...

Yes I dont use ST for web browsing either - besides you cant send out email from hotmail or yahoo when using proxy. I just want enough encryption to bypass the TMNET sniffer dogs on BT lol.

i'm using the proxy mentioned earlier, at the very least i'm getting a constant 4kbps on this torrent i'm trying to get (low seeds and peers). previously i was getting jack shit, it was fluctuating between 0 and 8, though it idled on 0 most of the time.

You have to put that in the proxy options for whatever BT application (azureus, uTorrent etc) you are using.

Why non-SSL proxy or TOR works? Both these works by carrying the unencryted BT data through TM NET line to the peers. I was wondering, if they were doing shaping, wouldn't they detect this "tunneled" data as well?
How does TM Net shape our data then? I dont think they are doing "DPI". Any ideas?
